Yes it is the time off and the weight set to carry which would worry me most, although most times i only back at 8/1 or better BF.

Well i know when i followed form more weight was very important for me, i never went much above the lower half of the hcap unless i could establish a good consistency with many factors, the type of course being the main one and the weight carried to good effect.

But as you say the jockey can help and how he has worked with the trainer in the past and or horse.
