• The issue has been fixed and hopefully you can post screen shots again
  • Hi Guest Just in case you were not aware I wanted to highlight that you can now get a free 7 day trial of Horseracebase here.

Horse Racing Data, Strategy, and AI Harnessing

A Ajit Of course JSON is a data exchange format between different systems; on my screenshot there is such JSON data for the currently open Betfair market in my app, showing external data for the race my strategy can use.

If you want to use JSON data, then of course you need to process such JSON data some way, so again you have to program code. I was talking about a different kind of integration, where you do not need to program at all but have a service which exposes data through an MCP server that you can integrate through an AI agent.

You are welcome to create such a data service; then I can show you how my agentic app can work with that. I think it is quite clear — just google AI agent or harness and MCP server/protocol.

For collaborative work I'd just knock up an API. Then the data can go either way and you can fetch it however you choose.
That would be my suggestion.
I'm a software engineer so I don't mind programming things.

I don't want you to feel pressured or hijacked Stefan. I was just offering a hand if you ever wanted to scrape data that you had a hard time accessing.
I enjoy your contributions (y)

Can you give an example of what your app can do should I or anybody hand it some data
Again, I suspect things are being lost in translation.
I don't and haven't offered any app or mentioned one.

It was just an offer of the use of my own scraping package in future collaborative efforts for difficult to access data if it was required.

Maybe I replied to the wrong message but my post is aimed Stefen, however do you know what his app does/offer

A Ajit, nothing was lost in translation.

You offered help with data parsing, and if you are able to do so, then I will certainly use it.

I did not ask for your app; if you truly are able to deliver what you say, please run it on your Linux server and give me access to the REST API endpoint.

If you have the script code as you mentioned, simply share it through GitHub, just like I do with my own GitHub projects.

It doesn't matter what technology or programming language you are using because I can run Linux code either on WSL or in Docker installed on my Windows development PC.

what do you want parsing?

A Ajit Whatever you already have will work.

Since we are on a horse racing forum, all data related to horse racing is fine.

On the screenshot, you can see a list of what I currently have, so it would be fine if you have something new, or if it's classic sources like Timeform or Racing Post that are now protected by Cloudflare Guard or Captcha, I simply haven't had time to reprogram for those yet.

My posts on this thread use three different data sources, but I would also like to extend my model using entirely new data.
