This is a new anti-bookie angle.
We all know how to more or less evalute the odds for football matches, using ratings, etc.
This has not led us to riches because the bookies also know.
Back in time when it was football pools it did not lead us to riches either, for the similar reason.
So we are looking for anti-bookie angles.
This hidden form what is then ?
We normally say that a team is in form when we see a green line of W's across the board.
But this is a) inconsequential because the price offered will be low, b) a trap because of the energy expenditure law.
Yet it might be possible sometimes to predict a comeback to form - or the opposite.
One known example is the "new manager effect".
Other ?
It's not 100% of course. Nothing is 100%.
Recent examples:
Everton beat Brentford away: False dawn. In the next match it was the good old Everton again.
Pochettino: I think the blues are waking up now.
