Heritage handicaps by roy dodd

Here he concentrates on class 1&2 handicaps and basically looks for horses with a Racing Post Rating that's 8lb higher than their OR .
I seem to recall owning an earlier book of his though (A4 size and green in colour) where he looked at horses rated 5lbs higher than their OR.
I believe he changed his approach slightly due to the 2004 BHB changes to handicap racing.

Hi anyone have a copy of this book heritage handicaps
Thanks
The book code is ISBN 0-9546205-5-0

I ran a search through 834 online bookstores and it came back blank, this is the first time this has happened.

Here he concentrates on class 1&2 handicaps and basically looks for horses with a Racing Post Rating that's 8lb higher than their OR .
As the RPRs and ORs are on different scales I can see why Ray Dodd used a Racing Post Rating 8lb higher than their OR, looking at my conversion table this would give each horse approximately 2 lbs in hand.

Thanks for posting the link, formtheory formtheory.

Now we now know why no one seems to have copies of Dodd's work for sale. A man with essentially one, rather thin, idea; unlikely that following freely available ratings is going to give anyone much of an edge.

As can be seen from the contents page, the book is heavily padded out with jockey, trainer and course records.
I believe he ran a tipping service based on his ideas, the results of which would certainly have curtailed further sales.
