Golf in General

I really like John Daly......no other golfer interests me. I saw John warm up the same way at the Buick Open in Grand Blank, MI.

Great day for British Golf Mat Fitzpatrick and Billy Foster winning the US Open - been a long time coming for Foster great achievement. Let’s hope they can do the double

The last week has been great for golf with McIlroy winning in Canada too.
The boy Fitzpatrick showed a lot of bottle on that last hole last night.

Will Zalatoris is such a class act. After he missed the putt for a playoff, he went up to Matt Fitzpatrick’s parents and said: “If I had to lose to anyone, I’m happy it was your son.”

Ooh getting a bit embarrassing now all the crap about “ the atmosphere” etc of St Andrew’s.

All a bit lovey dovey for me - it’s a well paid game ( alright it’s hard one ) even so still very well paid , even for those ranked 150 - 200 -

Got a weeks golf at Dartmouth Golf & Spa, we're going tomorrow(saturday) got 2 rounds at Dartmouth & 4 rounds at 4 other local courses hope the weather hold out

Larry that Sounds good let me know if courses they are worth a trip - of to Goswick - Tynmouth and Bamborough next

Not at all , same as we often do and nearer than Portugal - Turkey - USA Hong Kong -Singapore - Bali - etc although we have canceled the Kiev trip
I don't mind going abroad to play (hopefully playing in Bahamas at Christmas) but the drive to Devon/Cornwall for me is approximately 5 hours, so you're drained & p****d off before you get there, last year because of Stonehenge it took us about 10 hours to Cornwall so this year its M4 then M5. The courses at Cornwall last year were beautiful & very challenging Polzeath & Lanhydroc are 2 that I remember
