EBOR FESTIVAL

Ah damn, I must have jinxed it posting, absolute shocker from Morrophone & Ryan Moore, I knew it had no chance after a furlong, could have given me something to shout at, very disappointing 33L 11th.

Still on for decent money and now my Andrew Balding bet is looking good with a nice cash out too, but two left to run so let it ride, plus two left in my acca's, so should be up a decent amount today and be able to go again tomorrow but with bigger stakes (& then I will lose it all lol).

Great day for me, although my big acca didn't come in I still got a good return on that, and my Balding bets were awesome, I played him just yesterday and got loads back, plus had him over the 1st two days so also had Item with the three yesterday, and I've got him over yesterday and today as well, so if he hits any today it will be another big return. Took a chunk out and put the rest on over today and tomorrow, even if I lose I'll still be a decent amount up but now I have loads of chances at good money today and tomoz, fingers crossed for the monster return.

Today is hard to be fair, just mixing it and punting, we have a 3yr old race, X2 2yr old races and X3 lotteries.

AP O'Brien does have a few over next two days that aren't favourites and are around 10/1, which usually means they're naff but would be rude not to back him at those prices. Wathnan have a ridiculous amount running over next two days as well, they should hit a few but hard to pick the right ones.

Good luck with it.

You certainly don't want to be backing any Held-Up closers at York today going by these results... Forget the 2 Mile race that is....

Outside of Balding I didn't do well today, had some winners in my acca's but not enough, I didn't have Blue Courvoisier in any of them and then I needed Pendella in the last, beaten by HD, so I lost a chunk but Balding bet gave a decent chunk back, still up overall so far and got loads still on with some decent, JP O'Brien would be nice. I do like the two JP O'Brien horses tomorrow, plus Balding and Juddmonte. Mullins has an obvious double but don't actually fancy it. I have put an all Irish bet on though, and a bunch of new acca's, 6 & 7-folds plus trebles.

Saturday

Race 1
- Persica 7/1, like the horse, always back it, otherwise maybe Expanded 11/1 O'Brien/Moore, decent 2nd to Lion of Winter last time out and step up might suit, Geryon 4/1 for the other Irish connection.
Race 2 - Limestone 9/2, got to be JP O'Brien, Mythical Bay 8/1, Balding/Murphy
Race 3 - Ten Bob Tony 11/2, I had him when he won the Queen Anne at 50/1, and I got him at 80/1 and 66/1, I backed him before the Ebor festival started at 12/1, and then again at 10/1 and again at 8/1, I always back him, love him after his monster win so will stay loyal, and my mums got £2 E/W on him at 12/1 too as she had him in the Queen Anne as well. Tough race this though, worried about Notable Speech 10/3, Lake Forest 11/2 could win it on his day as could Zavateri 11/2 and easily Flora of Bermuda 11/1 for the man Balding, Rogue Dilpomat 12/1 good horse and J Owen on form, Paborus 18/1 beat Marvelman 18/1 last time out and Bethell on form, Satono Reeve 11/1 front runner looking to gain Japan their 1st win at the festival, pretty open really.
Race 4 - Emit 6/1 for JP O'Brien, but another open race really, Love Me Tender 11/2 is now just favourite for Mullins, but 1st run after purchase from Germany, although same owner won last year with Ethical Diamond, Beylerbeyi 11/1 or Tariance 15/2 could easily win it, or Dacquiri Bay 10/1, Square Necker 14/1, Paddy The Squire 18/1 (Jardine decent record in race), Stressfree 33/1 4th last year, not best form but probably worth a punt, Ascending 33/1, can never dismiss H De Bromhead, and my favourite big odds punt Paradias 50/1
Race 5 - Dance In The Storm now 3/1 favourite (Balding), well fancied and meant to be better than the rest, another tough one, I'm wondering if I should give the horses that ran in the week a go, can Air Force One 13/2 win again 3 days later, it was only 5f Wed and 6f tomoz, same with Stratusnine 12/1 having to carry top weight again, and Toca Madera 14/1, all ran well Wed. Red Spells Danger 10/1 maybe, Easterby hasn't had one yet, Far Above Dream 9/1 (J Owen) or Sondad 12/1 (M & D Easterby), maybe Oldroyd other horse Pocklington 16/1 or even Annaf on his day at 33/1 for bigger odds punts.
Race 6 - 2yro old lottery, favourite has good form, but Dubai Champion 11/2 2nd favourite NR Wed @ 17:20 so must have favoured this race for it, Hanney Boy 14/1 Irish connection bigger odds punt
Race 7 - Erzindjan 15/2 my favourite, otherwise Accredit 15/2 and Al Aali 9/1, Diego El Queso 4/1 for the Irish connection, Dain Ma Nut In 28/1 for bigger odds punt.

Curragh, I'll probably also be adding JP and AP horses at the Curragh to their York horses.

Chester: Billy the Kid not at York again and off to Chester, going all out for the Championship and is looking good for it at the ripe old age of 20, might be worth a side bet.
