I honestly don't recommend it, @

the person who came up with this challenge must be one real sicko !!

A challenge is a challenge; trying to meet it must teach us plenty. pete pete and Delboy99 Delboy99 .
To my knowledge three people on the forum have accomplished the task.

Of course, there may be scores who can do it with their eyes closed, but, we never hear from them. :)
I'd have thought all those who know about favourites, and who can distinguish a good fav from a false fav ,
would be shit-hot at this sort of thing.

For me, the top end of the Market rarely appeals.
In fact, my buttfair balance more than tripled over the weekend - just at Newmarket.

My new method worked there, but, the ones that lost were mostly those in the top three of the Market. Nothing was applicable to this thread.

Of course, it will soon be emptied again, and I shall need to replenish by going out cutting grass, digging gardens, and concreting bases for gazebos etc.
That's a sign of a pretty poor gambler, imo. :D

I'm currently trying to make arrangements for going to Chester this week, and, to the Derby a few weeks later.
I tell ya, it don't get easier with age!:)

Your bottle goes and inertia sets in. I have to force myself to get out there.

I think I've chucked away a fiver here: I tried to get matched at a reasonable , acceptable, price earlier, but only part of my fiver was matched, as the price immediately contracted to far too low.
Basically, my "method" gives two selections in this race. Imo, either could do well.

Anyway, I thought of jumping ship, changing mounts, whatever, but, finally , compromised with this below:

Mon, 8th.
Attempt 4, Bet 111,

3.05, Southwell, John The Pirate, £5 @2.19, 4TBP, to pay 5.93 .

I felt obliged to put up something for the thread. Not a particularly good motive, imo. :)

Yes, the one I put up was useless: pressed the pace, then faded to nowhere.
I was picking between two, and the other one did come fourth at a bit better price.
A fiver on that negated the loss at Bsp, in reality, so , all a bit of a waste of time, but, less harm done. :)

Bet 111
Loser
Minus £5
Bank now £18..68 after 111 bets from starting bank of £50.

...... been in the same position myself before. Found I was just putting one on for the sake of the project and not really being super confident that it was the right thing to do. Sometimes I think it might be better to take a swerve and leave it to the next day. Still in there though! ;)

..... oh so that's how it works. Outside first two lose stake!
yes, its called cover or insurance betting ..
can take two place or three place cover bets .. skybet will lay them down to the number of places they are paying to om each way bets. Obviously the more places you cover the lower the odds that you get.
