Double your money

markfinn markfinn,
I've been betting for decades and I can honestly state that I have never doubled my money every day of any year. Far from it.
A failure, I guess, but, there ain't no big business that has done that consistently for more than five years, in my opinion.

There are folk who get near it for a while, I believe.
I met a chap who was said to have bought his first car ( Morris Minor) from a winning greyhound at Perry Barr.
He denied it, but, maybe that was because he and his mates owned the dog, and, the winning result might have been a bit on the dubious side. :D

And here's my go:
6.00 Chepstow
5TBP
£1 Diamond Cottage
£1 Macon Belle

all at BFSP.
Total £2 staked.

The overall goal is to take your 25 points, and, using a series of one point a day bets, at around even money, try and end up with 50 points.

No restrictions on bet type or which sport or which method of betting, skipping a day or two is fine, having a mixed sport double is fine, having cover bets or using extra places or bet builders or whatever you want to do is ok.

I just did not want someone to come on, stick 25 points on an even money shot and be done ... Be creative, think about how you get a bet builder to even money, my inspiration was seeing some of the crazy twitter bet builders out there... Like this.

Surely the more components you include in a bet builder, the more points of failure there are in the bet.

Either way, it's a bit of fun, join in, don't go crazy, see if you can find a way to bet that you might not have explored before.

There are people out there betting on all kinds of crazy stuff. It's no longer 12 horse races a day and a couple of midweek football fixtures, you can bet on Anything nowadays.

Good luck to those that are playing.

markfinn markfinn will there be a hefty R4 on this as best price is 1/33 now that Dukedom is a n/r
Thanks Larry - Well could not see another candidate today - hopefully I can see a slightly longer odds some where in the remaining 23 bets to make up the short fall . This is one of the attractions here makes you hone in on SR and constant return .

I remember one lad experiment doing one odds on shot per day and despite doing well for a while it ended in tears - he was great at Southwell on the sand - not so great on the turf , to many variables to going of half cocked .

Since 1990 there were 49 favs that went off at 1/20 or less. 48 won resulting in a level stake profit of 90p, or 1.84% ROI The only loser was Mark Johnston's Triple Dip in March 2015
