Does anyone here just bet on the 'easy money' or as some might say, high risk. what i mean is

2-3-4-5 football matches, however many you like, 80 minutes gone and you pick all the teams leading 2-0 or 3-0 then back them to win, Obviously if you put £500 down you would probably only get returns of £520 or something but 99.99999% of the time it will come in and is easy money, isnt it, or am i missing something here.

Don't the odds reflect the risk, so it's no more easy money than betting on a hot favourite at the start of the event ?

a hot favourite can lose at any given time, maybe not often, but still can, and i wouldnt bet against a top team being 2-0 down after 80 minutes as they can come back. But in general, i know it sounds like you are risking £500 to win £20, but are you, if you are clever about it.

My experience with football bets is that anything can happen and they play so much "added" time now it would not do my blood pressure much good betting like that!

Risk vs Reward...

Does anyone remember 99? The European final with Man Utd, when they scored 2 goals in stoppage time to beat Bayern. Pretty sure some guy lost close to a million on betfair in the last 3 minutes of that game Now that would have been tough.

I knew a guy who used to laptop up and sit 300 from the post at the races though with a similar train of thought. He always seemed to do pretty well, then he was a sensible punter with his bank and his staking.
