Crypto Sites?

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm at a loss.

What is the issue with crypto gambling in the UK? I recently moved here from Australia and was using Bitcoin on sports books and casinos. I see that many of the same sportsbooks and casinos are available here, but the BTC option is removed...why is that?

I saw a review on CoinBuzz say that it was a regulatory thing, something to do with the complications on KYC, but someone on AskGamblers went the other way and insisted we COULD use crypto. He wasn't from the UK though, and was seemingly basing his decision on the fact that AG lists "Bitcoin" as an option on a few UK sites.

What's the issue (if there is one) and are there any workarounds?

Yeah you can try with the offshore books, they usually don't have that issue

I'm back again, I recently found out about this list by Bookmaker's Review, it's a list with the best offshore sportsbooks, if you're still looking for options I think they'll help you. And it's a legit site so you're safe with the info you get from them. Hope this works!
