Coral Racing Club - £5 free

Does anyone play the Coral Racing Club?

5 questions, if you get all 5 correct, you get £5. I've never managed to get all 5 right so far, 4 out of 5 is my best and I got that last week because I checked the previous results of the Coral Cup before I played, but then I thought, hang on, if multiple people play it, we can put the answers up on here then anyone that plays it will get it right and get £5 for free.

The questions are usually about the big race on Saturday, which I assume this week is the Henry VIII Novices' Chase @ Sandown.

Check previous results before playing, I will play now and post the answers for anyone else that wants to play it, if I lose at least you will win......

Damn it, you only have until 12:00 to play, I just got 3 out 5 but my screen froze and when I clicked on the answer for question 2 it was too late and put my answer in for question 3, so I don't know what the questions or answers were for 2 and 3, sorry, will get it next week.

Question 1 answer is Moscow Flyer
Question 4 answer is False
Question 5 answer is Kauto Star

Hope that helps anyone playing in the next hour, sorry I missed 2 and 3, bloody computer, will get all 5 answers up next week. Coral wont be happy.

I wonder if we all get the same questions in the same order anyway, but in case it helps, you have a day left and for me it was....

Q1 = Colin Tizzard
Q2 = Charlie Deutsch
Q3 = Stumptown
Q4 = Wodhooh
Q5 = Poquelin

I got 4/5 as I got Q3 wrong.

Ok another free £5 for anyone that plays, festive quiz this week....

Q1 Jockey question = Tom Scudamore
Q2 Mullins trainer/horse question = Faugheen
Q3 Last horse to win Welsh National & Grand National = Silver Birch (2004 Welsh National & 2007 Grand National)
Q4 How many times did Kauto Star win the King George = 5
Q5 Alternative trainer question = Evan Williams

I only got the Kauto Star one right, they were hard I thought, and you only have a few seconds. I knew Faugheen was a good horse but that was before my time, if it's not something I can pick up easily from the previous results (like 5 wins for Kauto Star) or from the last few years I've got no chance.

Sorry I can't remember the questions but I won £5 this week, it was easiest it's ever been, just asking questions about who won over Christmas....I can remember 3....

Trainer question = Rebecca Curtis
Kauto Star = Kitzbuhel
Upset = Idaho Sun

Other two were easy as well, free £5.

I thought it was hard this week, and I looked what races are on Saturday and checked the previous results, so I got Q3 because of doing that, I knew Q1 and Q5, so 3 out of 5 for me this week.

Q1. Horse that won the 2021 Morebattle and then then Plate 12 days later?
A1. The Shunter
Q2. Who rode Heltenham to victory in the 2024 Greatwood Gold Cup trained by Dan Skelton?
A2. Ciaran Gethings (Ha, I fell into this trap and put Harry Skelton)
Q3. Lucinda Russell won her 3rd Kelso Premier Novices Hurdle last year with which horse?
A3. Jet To Vegas
Q4. Horse that won the 2009 Triumph Hurdle before 2nd in the 2010 Morebattle at odds of 1/14?
A4. Zaynar
Q5. Father and son trainer and jockey duo won the Grimthorpe with Undersupervision in 2022?
A5. Nigel & Sam Twiston-Davies

If you do play Antoshorse, let me know if you get the same questions in the same order, cheers & enjoy.

It never came up for me for a couple of weeks for some reason, not that I saw anyway.

Note: It's not a guaranteed £5, you go into a draw and 500 people get £5, but I don't think that many get it right so you usually get £5 if you do, I did the one time I hit all 5 anyway (and it was easy that week).
