I listened to the match on the radio last night, the atmosphere sounded electric.

Fantastic result, the enemy had nothing to give they are now on the back foot with a one point advantage. It is what it is and this is why football is such a great sport, it takes your energy and then it revitalises you wanting more.

About 12 perhaps 13 years ago I watched Spurs beat Man City to finish 4th & qualify for the CL, I argued that night that finishing 4th should not be cause for celebration. 12 perhaps 13 years later I was nervous as a kitten praying we’ll finish 4th I’m afraid Sky, Premiership, UEFA & most of all money has ruined football, I’ll be a hypocrite & celebrate but each year football dies another little bit 😞😞😞
Next year if 1 of the supposed big 6 don’t finish in the top 6 they’ll still get in the CL because of their past European record, super league bought in by the back door 😞😞😞 well done markfinn markfinn with Leeds

I once went to a sportsmens dinner where Cloughie was the main speaker. Garry Birtles was his driver/minder. I had a brief chat before the dinner with Cloughie and I'm afraid he appeared to have had a drink or more. At the dinner, a huge room, a gentleman was on the front/main guest table wearing a turban. Unfortunately Cloughie made a few references to it throughout the dinner.

I remember watching him play for spurs but remember him more jumping over a mini on saint & greavsie or whatever the itv Saturday afternoon sports programme was called
