C'mon Leeds!

Sheffield Wednesday would be an interesting challenge for him. "Buy the Dip" mentality, build, and then create something longer-term.
That would be a road to glory, DuckandDive DuckandDive . The German's like their money though, so I doubt Farke will take a massive pay cut.

Today's game will be a struggle v Brighton, due the squad being depleted somewhat. I am more looking forward to the West Ham game, tbh

‘Monty, said, “All the boxes that we wanted to tick, are ticked’.

Not Guilty.

Farke said that, not me.

For a city of this size and with its fan base and football history, I aim much, much higher than I believe Farke could ever achieve.

What he said could be taken as reminder to the club to invest more on a spread of quality players, or, preparation/reasons for an early exit if they get off to a sticky start next season.

One of the recruitment issues for Leeds is that Man City/Utd, Newcastle would be be preferred destinations for a player(s) wanting to come into the Premiership up North, even if they may not get a load of playing time.

Bielsa tried to recruit the likes of Gyokeres when he was at Coventry, Bowen at West Ham, Foden when he was out of favour at Man City. None of them fancied his murder-ball training and held out for bigger clubs. Farka's new system has developed on recent lines, but he manages the squad rotation better than Bielsa did.

Brighton's motivation for a Champions league place and their record as Elland Road doesn't augur well today.

Thankfully, they got the job done and not have to rely on 3pts today, and then have to get something from West Ham on the final day!

My league Performance Rating/rankings shows Brighton have a 100+ form rating and top 3 form ranking. It changes as recent form changes and can be plotted graphically. Leeds are Ranked 8 with a 73 form rating, so not too shabby.

Farke, milking it and preaching to the converted. Who can blame him? It is what it is but I feel next season will be as difficult as this one has been without proper investment.
