Decided to give this ago with sticking to class horses in which i see them as possibley running in class they can win at.

My first horse runs in the 1 55 LEICESTER JUNKANOO this horse is dropping to class 5 for first time although looking through form it tends to have better form on softer going has run ok on firmer which i hope wont hinder it.
Last time out run one of his best races in first time blinkers and also was decent time for the going, Was hampered the time before but this is the right distance as last time this jockey was on it was over mile and was staying on looks ready to run big race in this.

My second horse runs in 4 50 LEICESTER RIBHI this horse had been running in listed company till after break ran last time in class 2 where it was running over mile for first time, concidering it likely needed the race ran a good race again in decent time in which crowley was on the better fancied horse which did finish ahead of him.
The horse had been gelded before that last run and looks like should be spot on today to run big race, lightly raced alot more to come im sure.

My third horse runs in the3 55 HEREFORD COTTEN END this horse won this race before and its not as much this horses class but the others in the race,
They all look like they would be over tried in this class where as this one knows can do it, looks like was offer classed many times last year and has made its o/r drop like ton of bricks like last run in class 2 dropping 7lb, There is no doubt he has to be revived some what for break and i think at current mark in race he won before is ideal time as has won and run well before after breaks.

My fourth and final horse runs in the 4 57 HUNTINGDON PRESENTING YEATS this horse is running in right class agasint horse who seem to struggle with it.
last time out this horse won but then was disqualified with paddy brennan on it who last time he had spell on it was placed then went on winning couple before placed again. Looks to me that he told tariner when ready to win let me know which he did and dually won so he will be determend to win and keep race this time.That last run was in decent time to infact the horses second fastest run race the fastest he won making all so its hard to say as slowly away few times lately but brennan might just kick him on today and lead all the way.
 
Must admit was totally dissapointed today by the way they went but last one winning got me out lossing day but also was not winning one,
 
There was a few how has possiblities today but decided to go with three who i feel are dropping in class and should go well.

The first one runs in the 2 55 NOTTINGHAM HERNAN CORTES this horse started of in class 5 over 6fur when clearly is going to be better over further going by breeding, stepped up in class slightly till last run where he jumped to class 3 and just got beat.
You could argue that was on all weather but looks to me its more the distance showed the improvment.
It was also first handicap and now dropping to this class i am sure must go very close.The horse that beat him was fav and ran a great race up in class yet again last time franking the form some what.

My second one runs in the 3 30 NOTTINGHAM MR ALAN this horse is dropping in class and last time in distance too like so many breed by stayer out of sprinter takes time to get distance right,
Looks like the trys over further it just dosnt stay and he won only race over mile and last time was without doubt best performance although i am not going to say that race was true class 2 in form he is droping here and the soft ground i think will suit also new jockey on board today who dosnt usually ride for this stable but got winner yesterday from this combo so looks interesting.

My third and final selection runs in the 5 00 WOLVERHAMPTON MANCINI
last time this horse run in this class was also all weather where and he won from 1lb higher mark than today that was long time ago and just kept improving till roughly this time last year his mark started to fall, So when you look at latest runs its clear he is back down to mark where he can be very dangerous.
First time round here but is clearly better on turning track and this should suit i honestly cant see how this horse will not run mig race today and feel should be very close indeed.
 
Well done Gerry, with Mr. Alan A good win @ a good price. I'm having a nibble
on Lord Riddiford in the 4.40 at Nottingham. Bit optimistic I suppose, backing a 7
year old against 3 and 4 y olds over 5 f/longs and F/Master must be the one to beat
but L/Riddiford has won some high stake sprints in his time and his last run was not
too bad. Plus, I think at 11/1 he's worth nibble.
 
Thanks guys at least other winner showed profit,the best is i left other race out because was 2yo yet put one in that was and other race there was two dropped in class first and second.
I also nearly put in lord riddiford myself steenbras as dropped but thought was just to tight to put here although did bet it myself.
 
Looks like four for tomorrow with chancesin this class.

First one runs in the 2 05 BRIGHTON RICH WATERS dropping to class 5 this horse has showed improved form last twice since cheeks put on ground should be fine although to prove it,back up to mile i think will suit now running better now and did win over 7fur as 2yo.

second horse runs in the 3 20 CARLISLE RUNWITHETHETIDE this horse won apoint and i think they believed he would be stayer but his possibly best run was over 2 miles last time and now down to decent mark and in poor race there every chance he will go forward.
i will add its more a poor race than him dropping dramatic in class from his maidens and thats why i said at start looks like four i swithered with this one but looks slight drop to me.

third one runs in the 3 55 CARLISLE WHEELBAHRI this horse went up ranks and kept winning till finally looked like stepped to high but now dropping back to in class and more time could be upto this mark in this race, loves the track so alot going for it here.

fourth and final horse runs in the4 25 BRIGHTON VOLTAIC dropping to class 6 should give this horse every chance, the problem i had is tony carroll has two in race and there is arguement for his other one also DE VAGAS KID so there is possibley room for cover bets here on both as i do feel trainer will think he has this race covered. The ground looks like would suit his other one better to but i just feel this one being the younger might just be improving by his other one, after all my typing i have decided to make this a coupling of the two.
 
very poor today would need tighten them up to have better recent form to as they seem to be ones who ran best.
 
After looking at that has deff tightened it right up which discounts most horses ans limits bet but lets see how it changes.

Only one tomorrow now ans it runs in the 3 34 UTTOXETER COLDSTREAM this horse after winning round here stepped up in class 3 for first handicap and just beat, now dropping to class 5 and just up 1lb must have great chance here , dropping in distance slight worry but showed enough in ireland to show he has pace for this.

This thread looks like dying a slow painfull death after just pointing to class .The point is not leaving anything out as horses have incredible ability to run to high class then start running well below it.
So after this test i came to conclusion and i could be totally wrong that to sit and watch a race before it even starts the only way you feel remotely confident is if the horse has run well in last run or deff in last two runs and a reason why he didnt perform last time out as maybe to high class or going or distance.
I picked out my class horses yesterday and although did have a second at 50/1 among them fame and acclaim i did have only one winner pounding poet.
Yet when i looked at all the races i had not bet in and looked at horses with decent recent form i could pick out a other seven winners all be it not biggest prices although asmund was lovely price.
So although we all know good recent form does kill price for what ever reason it still gives value in certain places.
For all that said and done when i was picking my horses today there was one who stuck out like sore thumb to me at least it runs in the 3 30 n abbot SABRINA since wearing tounge tie looks differant horse stepped up in class massive and run terrific race last time after good win with tounge tie first time.Now dropping a way back down so this horse looks good in class and recent form all be it is more last formthan recent as was 196 days ago.
That will be last horse ont his thread and i am hoping it finishs it with bang.
