Fancy betting on the Dinamo Zagreb v Manchester City game...

It's bitterly cold over there (home advantage ? An environment that the home team might be more suited to ?) and while it's a dead rubber for Man City, Zagreb still have a chance to progress and need to get a win... Dinamo will go through if they beat City and Shakhtar do not beat Atalanta.

Team selection - Man City have a strong team, but not their strongest team, while I expect Zagreb will be pulling out all the stops. Will Man City also have an eye on their Premiership match in 4 days time as well ?

Who fancies 8.0+ odds on the home win... or a slightly safer bet of 1.5 lay odds on Man City not to win ?

Man City has managed to pull a goal back... HT now. Looking at the match stats, perhaps Man City do want this ?

OK, it's the Europa League this time, and I think there's a good opportunity with the CFR Cluj v Celtic game today.

(From the BBC Sports website); Celtic head for Cluj-Napoca having already qualified for the Europa League last 32, but it is no dead rubber as far as their hosts are concerned. Dan Petrescu's side sit second in Group E and need a point to secure progress from a European group stage for the first time. Lose and Lazio would pip the Romanian champions if the Italians also win away to Rennes.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon and his players insist they will not be treating the game lightly as they look to extend their winning run to 13 games in all competitions. But Lennon has left five key first-team regulars behind following the exertions involved in winning Sunday's Scottish League Cup against Rangers despite being down to 10 men.
Celtic's run of 12 victories includes three away from home since losing to Livingston in October. Cluj also have a proud record to protect and, although they lost 2-1 away to mid-table Botosani on Sunday to fall behind Astra Giurgiu at the top of Liga 1, Petrescu's side have won 10 home games in a row since losing 1-0 to Slavia Prague in Champions League qualifying in August.

So, the same scenario as Manchester United had a few weeks ago playing away to Quarabag - playing away with a very rested and weakened (young) side which is for Celtic a dead rubber, against the Romanian champions who need at least a draw. Celtic are playing just 4 days after their hard-fought win over arch-rivals Rangers, and this away game comes just 3 days before their domestic campaign resumes with a game against Hibernian (CFR Cluj have 4 days before their next domestic game against the current Romanian league leaders in a top 2 crunch match).

This time around (unlike the Quarabag v Man Utd match) the odds are a bit more reflective of this... you can get evens on a home win with BF, and I'll maybe have a punt on that, keeping an eye on the stats and will hope for some trading opportunities during the game.

Team news
Celtic captain Scott Brown suspended, while fellow midfielders Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Tom Rogic, plus goalkeeper Fraser Forster and striker Odsonne Edouard, have been rested. Goalkeeper Craig Gordon, right-back Moritz Bauer, midfielder Nir Bitton, winger Scott Sinclair and strikers Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Issouf Bayo will feature. Meanwhile, 16-year-old winger Karamoko Dembele, 18-year-old midfielder Scott Robertson and 19-year-old striker Grant Savoury could make their debuts.
