...... another of those strange games where things don't quite go to plan although the home side did manage to get over the line with a 1-0 victory t put a smile back on our faces. The visitors put up a heroic defence as they lost a man to a Red card after 32 minutes and played the remainder of the game with ten men. Fortunately it all turned out well n the end for us and may be the start of a mini revival. So we bank the £5.00 and the new total new reads £418.15. ....... Two results to report here. On Thursday Cartagines could only draw 1-1 despite taking the lead in the 37th minute. The visitors upped a gear and equalized after 63 minutes and 2 minutes into added time had the chance to go ahead but missed a penalty kick and it ended 1-1. The Wednesday selection fared somewhat better when Palmeiras piled it on and finished winners by a splendid 5-1. So we lose £7.54 on Cartagines and win £5.00 on Palmeiras so net loss is £2.54. So the new total becomes £415.61. We move on to Friday and the new selection is highlighted below.;)

…. two results to report here. Late on Friday night we had Racing Club from Argentina getting over the line by 1-0 with the goal arriving in the 41st minute. Saturday afternoon we had a Polish side Jagiellonia thumping their opposition by 4-0 to give us back to back wins. So we win £5.00 on each of these and the new total becomes £425.61. We move on to Sunday and the new selection is highlighted above.;)

...... anther win but another slim win. Looks like the opposition upped a gear or two for they bombed away at the home defence for long periods. Fortunately the home lads held tight and the only goal arrived in the 21st minute to give the hosts a hard fought 1-0 win. So we bank the £5.00 and the new total becomes £430.61. ..... one of those games that leaves one wondering. The result was 0-1 won by a penalty in the 41st minute for the visitors which was converted. They had not won a solitary game in fourteen attempts, yet managed to nick this one.Disappointing show by Santos and one to forget. So we lose £7.76 and the new total becomes £427.85.
