The only goal arrived very late in the game and as late as the 4th minute of added time. Good to see one go my way so late as I have endured many the other way. Then to complete the double win we had Charlotte from USA MLS come in with a close 1-0 victory after I fancied them having the edge to get home. ..... another decent visit to Ecuador when the hosts came in with a nice 3-1 victory. Once again the opposition opened the scoring when they netted in the 28th minute to take the lead. Seven minutes later and the home side were level. They opened the second half strongly and deservedly went ahead after 56 minutes. ...... definitely a nail biter this one. The hosts eventually were on the right side of a seven goal thriller to get home 4-3. After 17 minutes it looked grim as the hosts took a 0-2 dive. However by half time it was looking better and the teams were all square at 2-2. The home side managed to up a gear or two and after a goal each they scored the winner 90 + 5 minutes to take the tie. ...... not much to work on with this game but it turned out to be a game of two halves. The home side managed to get in first and by half time led comfortably by 2-0.
