..... a profitable visit to Brazil when the home side obliged with a nice 4-1 win. They looked strong on paper and proved too much for a lack lustre Gremio side. Two goals by the hosts in each half were enough to see off the visitors. So we bank the £5.00 and the new total becomes £414.97. We move on to Tuesday and the new selection is highlighted below. ;)

...... this was the first of back to back wins for the selection process. Cuiba won 3-1 after going behind to a 5th minute goal. The home side then rallied to get two before half time and the last one came in the 74th minute to end up completely controlling the game. In the second match and later kick off time Nagoya won their Emperor Cup match 2-1 after taking a 39th minute lead. The visitors surprised with an equalizer on 73 minutes but the hosts upped a gear and scored what proved to be the winner five minutes from the end. So we bank the two wins £10.00 and the new total becomes £424.97. We move on to Thursday and the new selection is highlighted below. ;)

..... another win in the MLS although another slim 2-1. I thought this one would have been easier than that but apparently D C put up a spirited showing. The home side took a two goal lead shortly after half time with the visitors replying in the 60th minute, which turned out to be the end of the scoring. ..... a disappointing result from Argentina when Bocca Juniors were held to a 1-1 draw after dominating play for much of the time. The visitors did take the lead against the run of play after 64 minutes leaving Bocca to draw level after 85 minutes and they had to be satisfied for the one point. So we lose £6.60 and the new total becomes £423.37. We await the Coritiba result later tonight so we move on to Sunday where the new selection is highlighted below. ;)

...... I picked a right pig in a poke here alright as the home side were comprehensively beaten 5-2 by a Paysandu side who had won very little prior to this match. So very disappointing indeed. On a better note Nashville managed a slim 1-0 victory against a poor Toronto side who managed to put up a greater performance than in previous away outings but only lost this one by the odd goal. So in the Coritiba game we lost £7.85 and in the Nashville game we won the £5.00. So the net loss was £2.85. This makes the new total now £420.52. We move on to Monday and the new selection is highlighted below. ;)

...... another slim win this time in Bolivia. The hosts took an early lead after 22minutes and added a second just before the interval. The visitors struggled to cope but were rewarded with a penalty kick after 68 minutes but could not manage to get on even terms and the home side ran out winners 2-1.
