after the budget for betting online

eeyore

Yearling
Online gambling firms will be forced to pay more tax, raising £1.1billion. The cost is expected to be passed on to punters through lower odds and higher charges on betting accounts
my mate tolde me its already started he does a £2.50 acc on premier for one player on each team to commit a foul thats 20 player
put it on bet365 acc came to 285/1 then came notice to accept change 185/1 just watch how many timesthis will happen

First impression is that horse racing got left alone in the budget, but over the years, it has relied on the money made through the legal on-line casinos profits, with sponsorship and such like, so logical dictates, there will be cutbacks/margin squeezes made for sure.

It comes down to how important the price that's paid, is important to a punter. Getting 185/1 when 285/1 was available might not matter too much to a punter, but they should be deciding how low will it go before a no-bet decision is made.

All of my punting is done on the betfair exchange, so the exotic accas aren't available to me on-line. In my view, the newer punters don't use the exchanges as much, or at all, as they aren't advertised as extensively as the big bookies are. The Betfair adverts steer them to the bolted on sportsbook not the exchange.
