I would have thought with a 10lb turn around with Al agaila my selection would have been closer, makinmedoit had a 7lb turn around and got stuffed by 2 hds. Horses are not machines but that is kind of weird as my selection was a shd behind makinmedoit lto

I've used my current method of form reading for 64 races with an expected of 10.37 and actual wins of 11 so basically it seems to be getting winners randomly.
If I convert the actual odds of each horse to implied percentage then
Range.................... Selections
0.5 to 0.4 ...............1
0.4 to 0.3 ...............6
0.3 to 0.2 ...............15
0.2 to 0.1 ...............22
0.1 to 0.0 ...............20
I appear to be picking horses at long odds and not doing well

I usually look at the Horses profile to see if it is being asked to do something that it has failed to do before
It maybe that running the horse over further than it’s past winning distance will bring its handicap mark down
Made an effort today towards the end of the race, but it petered out (Good sign that the horse is responding to conditioning for the future )
Should drop a few Lbs and perhaps the Jockey who wins on the horse will be back on board over its prior winning distance

Fully expecting this horse to get trounced by Gaelic warrior but it was well thought of lto and 2 places behind it sil ver klass went on to win a much better race and it was well thought of too so the nto result was not a surprise
