What do you think about Lay the draw nowadays

Hello, i would like to ask you about the Lay the draw strategy. Do you think that it is still useful? Have the bookies adjust their odds in order to defend themselves from that strategy? Thank you

Don't know, what do you think ?

I am not sure that it was as it used to be but maybe there is some value if you can filter the matches that you are betting. I am not having any experience in this system, that is why i am asking here. Thanks

agourbet agourbet How Badly Are People Missing Sports Betting ? .... perhaps you should already know the answer yourself, as you state in your post number 1 above, that you are a professional bettor on this highlighted post of yours.

I am professional not God. I started the thread in order to discuss about it with mindful people. It is not bad to discuss about topics that you are interested and hear others people opinions also. Do you have any opinion about this topic, i would love to hear it.

It might be best to say a few words yourself agourbet agourbet and then maybe others will follow, i for one would be interested in what you know.

I have 7 years of experience in sport betting. The first strategy i used was arbitrage and i fell in love with it. Then i tried to market make in some exchanges(not betfair), but because there wasn't a lot of liquidity i couldn't make a living from it. The last strategy i used(which i am still using it) is value betting. I am very interested to learn about other trading strategies also.

I'm afraid this is all beyond my understanding but lets hope others can take part.
.... maybe if we saw some of the bets which were being placed, we may be in a better position to follow and understand. The information being passed on does not allow anyone to follow more closely.

I presume that your original post is talking about laying the draw at the start of a game and then cashing out once a goal is scored?
I think most replies are related to how you find the games to use the strategy, so maybe your thoughts on that might lead to a meaningful discussion

..... well said dave58 dave58 ... if he puts forward his strategy it will certainly attract further discussion. ;)

It would indeed be interesting to see an original approach to this. My last efforts at football betting involved Manchester United winning 1-0 with Cantona the first goalscorer - worked alright for me way back when
