The Fine Form Master Formula

I cherry pick the ones that I post here, but backing those blindly that the system throws up performs well. Unlike some examples that I have seen posted on this thread, there is only one horse selected and not multiple selections in the same race. All are clearly Fineform Top Rated as per the Booklets

With a starting Bank of £100 and a 5% Ratchet staking would have seen the bamk grow to over £19,000
Hi Chesham Chesham can I ask are the figures above fit the standard Fineform rules or your ones which include additional filters. Also over what period is this please. Thank you

Looks like 5 maximums today....1:32 Muss Inca Prince, 2:40 Muss Wakool, 4:00 Kemp La Tihaty, and at Leop, 1:20 Galopin Des Champs & 3:00 Honeysuckle.

Picking up on Larry's question from yesterday, sorry I'm not sure what you do if two horses in same race have a max score ? Pass I suspect (worked out ok in that instance, but long term ? )

Plenty to have a look at today....

Out of interest I was thinking of supporting rules. And all are in first three of betting. And looked the British races on Inform, and Inca Price figures to date are not above "par". Not too concerned whether outright "top" or not. Needs some more research, but saying as well as max, to qualify, a selection needs an above par speed figure and top 3 in betting, may home things down.

I'd say Lammas is also a strong contender today under Fineform ratings.
Has a score of 12 out of 13 - having not won at Kempton. However, he was third in his only start there, (in a maiden - beaten only by two horses that have subsequently won handicaps off marks of 84 and 81).
He is definitely progressive, having beaten a progressive odds-on George Boughey horse last time, with the fourth home having won yesterday on his next start.

Next best scores are 8, (Dingle and Sanaadh), Dingle is definitely interesting, (he actually beat the George Boughey horse by half a length or so last time).
Sanaash only won a claimer last time though, (admittedly he beat 80 rated Firmament into second).

Dance at Night has a more than respectable score of 7 - he is very unexposed, but at the prices, I have substantial doubts over the step up in trip as there is very little stamina in the pedigree, and he is owned by Jeff Smith, (who is well known for his sprinters).

I think Lammas would score well under later version of Fineform. He is currently in the top three in the market and within top three on adjusted RPRs.

Hmmm three winners from five but no profit...think I will keep looking at the Inform figures & betting forecast as additional filters. As it happens Inca Prince ran the poorest race of the five. Can't draw any conclusions just on that, but general principle seems worth a decent look.

Can't see any tomorrow. One 3:35 Taunton Tueday, Amelia's Dance ?

Also missed, Cliffcake 6:30 Southwell 7/2 currently

And Amelia's Dance 3:35 Taunton. Generally 4/1 currently

Both in top 3 of betting and above Inform par for their respective races (though AD well down on master ratings)

Both better prices than is usual for qualifiers....

Cliffcake drifted but won at 4/1

7:00 Kempton Khatwah - (in top three of betting and master rating better than Inform race par)

Another max today, 3:37 Fairlawn Flyer at around 4/1 ....a much more open race with 6 or 7 priced up around 10/1 - 12/1.

FF is in top three of betting and above Inform par for race. Going forward, my third additional rule for qualifiers, could be maximum of 10 in a race.

Maximums with addition filters for Saturday, first three in betting and above Inform par for race, with overnight prices....

2:05 War Edwardstone Evens
3:50 War In Rem 2/1 in a place, 7/4 gen
4:05 Ling Trevolli 13/8

Did not include Brave Seasca in 2:05 War (below par & not in top3 betting) nor Kodias Sangarius in 2:55 Ling (below par)

Thanks @Sean
Going ok at present. I guess with the extra filters, I should be landing on decent number of winners, as most anyway will come from the first three in the betting. However, prices have been a little bigger than anticipated.
I was thinking of adding an age filter, say maybe 3 or 4 on the flat or 6,7,8 with jumps. Also limiting field size. But jury out at present.
Think I'll just roll with what I have till end of February and see how it goes. My subs for Inform runs out then too, which I hadnt used very much till now.
I have started having a few bob on, so that will probably jinx things, with the ones I filter out winning and the ones I don't, losing !!
Thanks to Chesham Chesham for prompting me to think of filtering some out and apologies & thanks again to Jackform Jackform.

Can't see any today....one tomorrow at Plumpton?

Hi S Stevet1859 I have both Inform & HRB I much prefer HRB because of ease of use & excellent research facilities, there is nothing wrong with Inform it's just that once you've made a system everything has to be saved to computer, then you have to load rules, then apply rules whereas HRB the days selections on systems you've created are instantly there.
You're doing a fine job on this thread S Stevet1859 so i wish you every success
