Trying my hand on T20 world up. As always with these events, I will start with a bank of 10 points, if I lose the 10 points I stop. It will be a mixture of bets and trades on this, as Cricket is a good sport for trading as you often get plenty of swings in a match especially when teams are evenly matched.

Starting with a trade on Ireland vs Netherlands match

I have bet 1 pt on Netherlands at current price of 2.30, looking to lay them in running with a profit of 36%, so they will need to hit a price of around 1.70 for the trade to be successful.
 
I couldn’t have picked a more one-sided match to start this. Netherlands losing a wicket off 3rd ball of match and kept going from bad to worse, it will take a small miracle for them to get back into this so the trade is as good as lost. Can currently get back about 20% of my stake.
 
So we started with a 1 pt loss. The match taught me a couple of things though, and I have changed my strategy by doing away with the trades. One, it’s often difficult to take a position before the start, and two I needed to have a stop loss in case things went horribly wrong as they did in first match. For both these things I will need to sit in front of screen for duration of match, which is not possible for me. So just going to do straight bets from now on.

Sri Lanka won that one very easily, so small profit of 0.24 pt on the bet after commission.

Total = +0.17 pt after 3 bets (3 pts staked)

That would have been a good match for trading, Bangladesh lost after going 1.11 in running.

Total = -0.33 pt after 4 bets (3.5 pts staked)
 
Bad loss yesterday, will update totals later as today’s match is about to start.
