If we all picked a Lucky 15 every day, I wonder how long would it take for one of us to hit all 4? It's not easy this horse racing game.

I gave an example of someone my housemate used to work with - he put a Lucky 15 on every Saturday and it took something like 27 years for him to hit all 4 (sure he won around £24k).

I should probably choose a horse at another meet, 4 bigger odds at one meet is a big ask I suppose, but I'm opting for bigger odds. I do actually quite like Dwindling Funds, Jim Goldie @ Musselburgh and I like the name, I think Jim Goldie and/or Liam Bailey could do well today.

Could maybe do a yankee with shorter odds, pick another 3 and include Paddy's Day 5/1 @ 15:37, going for a 5-timer, running well, only 3lb rise.

It wasn't in my Lucky 15 but I said Jim Goldie and Liam Bailey, Liam Bailey won with Doomsday @ 22/1, so I'll take that (he had two horses in two races so I put all 4 horses in and played E/W singles and doubles). Jim Goldie trixie down.

My Lucky 15 for Aintree today is....

14:55 - Gaelic Warrior 13/2 - 1st
16:05 - Joker De Mai 10/1 - fell at 1st fence, very disappointing
16:40 - Dr T J Eckleburg 18/1 - 5th & placed, ran well
17:15 - Charisma Cat 5/1 - rubbish

But favourite trainer for today is Skelton. Few decent odds 2nd's.

Ah damn, somehow I missed putting Gaelic Warrior in my W P Mullins bet, at least I have it in my Lucky 15, plus £2 E/W double with Lossiemouth - probably not worth E/W but Constitution Hill probably wins so thought I'd do it E/W, will still be a profit if Lossiemouth places, albeit, not much.

EDIT: Nice win from Lossiemouth brought the double home which wasn't too shabby, and I was doing really well up to The Hunters (race 5), but last 3 results didn't go my way and I ended up a few squids down.

Bad ride from Nico I thought.
