Is this the Holy Grail?

Hi Scooter Boy and thanks for the welcome. Been around a few forums in my time. I do like the look of this though, particularly since you unearthed the manual and the spreadsheet. I have not had time to study this, but surely somewhere along the way there must be something worthwhile to capture one's imagination. Risk free interests me a lot I have to admit.
 
Delboy99 Delboy99 , yep, risk free has to be the ultimate way to bet - although I doubt it'll be that easy :)
I am working on some other angles with matches - some of that work may well feed into this method, I'll have to to trot out the old line 'I'll gather the data and work forward with it'.

Hi Ark Royal. No I cannot see any @ sign at all. There are a bunch of 20 symbols starting with Bold and ending with redo, and two further along at the end of the line which are remove formatting and use BB code editor. Does not help with More Options either. Am I missing something?
 
Sorry been Hospital visiting lately with no time to reply. Nothing seems to be happening to this since I last visited. Anyone got any ideas on how to progress with what we have in hand. In the meantime I will try and trace back over these threads and have a look at the spreadsheets to see if there is any leverage to enable some progress to be made.

I thought I had put this to bed with post #12 or are you talking about Slicers bet?
 
Hi Tom. Sorry, yes I am solely referring to Slicer's bet, as I feel there could be something there with some careful study.
 
Well it has been well documented and discussed in various forums and some even say that it is a hoax, although I believe firmly there must be an answer to this. As far as I can make out it looks like:-
Two bets to be made prior to kick off.
1. Lay h/t 0-0
2. ?? Guaranteed to lose should first bet win. Could be back 0-0 full time.

So 3rd bet as there has to be a third bet is maybe something to cover the back loss? Or
something to cover the lay loss should it not be successful?
Not looked at any odds as yet, but gleaned some of this from some of the forums discussing the Slicer Bet.
 
But if you look at some of the remarks covered in some of the forums, there is a growing support that Bet 2 is to back the draw at F/T. Which if this was true it could make some sense of an adjustment required for the third and final bet, is it not? ;)

Its been talked about for years and you have obviously followed the discussions but you have nothing more than "growing support" for bet 2 that might make sense of a still unknown 3rd bet! If it wasn't a hoax I would have thought that the collective minds on many a forum would have solved it by now.
 
Yes it is true that I have a gut feeling and many others appear to have that too! Seems a bit pointless to enter into a riddle without an end product or indeed any justification in doing so in the first place. Because all of these so called great minds have not yet found an answer to the riddle, does not therefore give any sound grounds for the hoax theory. Probably better to treat the issue with an open mind and perhaps continue to examine the facts on the various forums to see if there is any common ground to either prove or disprove this topic. Thanks.;)
 
I have found another system in my archives, just two bets this time: No. one is Lay the outsider in the Match Odds market and Bet # 2 is lay the favourite in the Next Team to Score markets. I have no idea if the markets still react in the manner described.
I will take a look to see how it works or if it works on tonights Germany-England friendly.

I like the idea John. What happens if you apply and add the system to the 2 of slicers bets that we already know about, so that you're involved in 4 markets/bets?
Its at this point where my tiny brain struggles to comprehend all the permutations :confused:
