I consider it a quick and safe way to make a living in sports!

Sputnik2012

Yearling
I consider it a quick and safe way to make a living in sports!

When you study and want to be successful, is all about making plans and routines for the path to success.
And in life, there are shortcuts and being smart.

I thinking of using hybrids and clean tipping services to get started with some steady income.
Problem is that we can not use bookmakers as they sooner or later limit or ban winning punters.

There is not much room for services that beat and offer bets on "Betfair Starting Price."
I find a couple that will get me started.

I work part-time and have been taking one year off from work and keeping my employment, so this is a safe attempt.
So I was thinking partly of building up a PORTFOLIO of services specialized in the Exchanges.

My source is well-tested services by professionals from Goalprofits.
So I don't hesitate or jump to naive conclusions.

My upcoming PORTFOLIO (exchanges only)

1) Cotswold Racing (Horse Racing Tips)
Has been proven to beat the "Betfair Starting Price" with a level stake.
Been tested and proven to be working well with a healthy ROI
So this is a set & forget for a yearly cost as I want to press down the price as much as I can.

2) PounceBet (Automated Betfair System)
This is an automated algorithm that is proven to work with a slow and steady return on investment.
This is a HEDGE or SAFE long-term income, where a larger bankroll would do the trick.
It has a good review both from Goalprofits and Betfair community.

3) TradeShark Tennis (Tips Service)
This is a great service from Paul (a professional tennis trader)
Support if there is any question about anything, he is a polite and nice person.
Tested and got a pass.
Daily tips using various trading strategies and free access to hes site with some material.

4) The Betting Mastermind (Tips Service)
This tipping service has a current review (month two) on Goalprofits and looks promising.
I reckon a pass after Mars, Goalprofits.
Tipping service for several strategies.

5) Assure Soccer Profits (Football)
Is a Hybrid, with a trading method that you executed and get qualifiers from a filter to trade.
Also, a blog from successful trades using the method with tips and support.
This method is a slow grind.

Now, this is a good set-up where Assure Soccer Profits (football) and Tradeshark (Tennis) will give you the potential to trade by yourself without the service when you gain experience.
Pouncebet (football algorithm) is a passive income and requires nothing from you.

Besides this, there is time to explore your own strategies and search for winning methods on daily basis.
I consider starting with Assure Soccer Profits (football) and Tradeshark (Tennis)
This will be my starting PORTFOLIO.

And as my bank and savings grow I will add the others.
And I keep myself updated on daily basis about existing services and those who pass and are on current reviews, at Goalprofits.

This is the current plan.

Cheers

Update - I will change my future considerations regarding The Betting Mastermind (Tips Service)
It did not get a Pass from Goalprofits as month three was terrible and where some of the five strategies were never profiting.
Some did profit each month and the verdict was Netrual, so if someone would pick the best performing and use a higher stake to tackle the fee it could work, but is not for me.

But there is a new tip service for the exchange that I will keep my eye on.
Banker Bets Football Trading Clubs.

Cheers

Update, I have tested the WeBetYouBet tipsters bot for a couple of weeks and feel I can not handle the variance.
The extensive spread of sports results in considerable variance.

I invested 1000£ and after two weekends drop 26 units (260£).
Did not feel okay.
Golf and snooker placing long shots, tennis placing six unit placements and soccer and horse races with one, or two unit placements.

Not for me so I took a loss of 170£ and save 830£ in my skrill account.

Getting second thoughts about tipping service.
Even if I know Pouncebet will produce more steadily using cash out function with solid selection criteria.
But that one has to wait.

I change direction and will invest my time into trading, using Assure Soccer Profits Strategy.
I purchase the method before they change the setup for a subscription.
So now I have to read and watch the videos to learn to master the method.

Cheers

Is not an easy task to solve the puzzle to get a method to show an edge.
First, you need a strategy, and then you need to gather around 250 matches that qualify for the odds criteria.
Then you need to check each match profile, stats & form, to get qualifiers.
Now after several days of cracking stats and odds, you have 100+ matches to simulate In-Play.
Another one to two weeks.

So it takes approximately one month to test and check a method that can get you a hint of a successful method or not.
After all that hard work you don't feel like sharing for obvious reasons.

So I don't regret for a minute that I purchase football simulation software.
Avoid crashing banks and be a victim of variance and guesswork.

So yes is worth it.

Cheers

Is not easy to be conservative and at the same time try to make money, but I find a winning method with my simulations.
Or at least it looks promising and I will invest real money into this method.

I think you know this method, when you have a strong home favourite and the underdog takes the leads you get favourable odds.
And there is both time value and a solid approach that has been proven to work for several years.

There is a tipping service with Bot that has been using this selection for several years with a proven edge.
I solve the puzzle of how to implement this without using the recent form and only using the market's starting price and time value.

Now I lower my edge because I use Cash Out, so it becomes safer versus variance and I get decent winning strikes and occasional losses.

I made 95 placed trades and wait to add this month's stats to achieve 100+ placed trades.
That is partly 2022/2023

Aug +1,51 Units
Sep +4,46 Units
Okt +3,79 Units
Now +0,98 Units
Dec +1,11 Units
Jan +0,47 Units
Feb +2,90 Units
Mar +2,90 Units
Apr +6,65 Units
Maj

So around 24 units of profits and maybe I reach 27 when adding this current month.
That is a 2700£ with 100£ and I am prepared to risk using a 10,000£ bankroll.

I both feel happy and disappointed.
Happy that I find a solid core method that probably can be trusted in the long term.
And I know is a marathon and not a sprint, but it would have been nice to make more money because I can not make a living on such a low ROI.

But at the same time, 27% of 10,000£ compared to stocks and other investments that average 4 to 6 % put some nice perspective into things.
So I am not greedy.

Now I considering compounding on a monthly basis to increase and boost the overall profit.
Maybe I can squeeze out another 100/200£ extra each year.

Also testing the same approach with a Set & Forget variant.
Will update the results and if it succeeds I maybe can make another chunk of units on a yearly basis.

Cheers

I am bad, should mention that I stop using tipping services.
My thought is that I have simulation software and have a lot of time for testing and is free.

And better is to subscribe to BF manger Bot and run your own methods.
My opinion.

So I only have one method in my portfolio at the moment.
As I mention above.

Cheers

I want to see if I can achieve 40+ units a year using this method.
So I will add the summer leagues, the other ones were the top ten.

Premier League - France Ligue 1 - Bundesliga - Italy Serie A - Netherlands Eredivisie - Spain La Liga
Belgium Jupiter League - Turkey Super Lig - Portugal Premier Liga - Scotland Premiership -

And the summer leagues I will simulate next

• Finland Veikkausliiga
• Iceland Urvalsdeild
• Lithuania A Lyga
• Norway Eliteserien
• Norway 1. Division
• Rep. of Ireland Premier Division
• Rep. of Ireland First Division
• Sweden Allsvenskan
• Sweden Superettan

Some food for thought, I can really feel that this method will not be no playable even if there are changes in the exchange markets.
Also that I will squeeze out money during the long run of an no ending marathon race until I rest in peace.
That is how strongly i feel about this method.

Cheers

Finally, I found a method I will use as my primary core method, what a great feeling.
Here are the results for one full year with standard season and summer leagues.
Not making a living, with 100£ stakes, but is a good start on my journey.

Now there is a small correction, the average odds reflect the use of the Cash Out function on Betfair.
So it should not be mistaken for a set & forget because is an in-play trading method where you Cash Out in a favourable situation during the match.

Cheers

Today I start the procedure of cracking stats and in-play trading simulations with another strategy that shows promising results.
So I have one in my portfolio that I mention above.

The second one I got from BTC (Betfair Trading Community) where I had a monthly subscription, but cancel it due to the high fee.
But I save some spreadsheets and some pre-game stats for selection for certain methods that were of interest.
This one has been proven to work for several years with an edge.

So now I only have to check the selection's pre-game stats from the spreadsheet and find my own selections based on the same stats and criteria.
This way I back-engineer the strategy and hopefully get the same or better results if reflection and tweaks arise during the process.

That was similar to what I did with the first method above with 20.72 ROI.
I find a free strategy and tweak it on the basis that services had been using the same method successfully for years and i only needed to add a twist to it and I was surprised that it was such a successful simulation.

Now this is a pretty self-explanatory approach where you can subscribe monthly to BTC or any other, for example Predictology with a monthly subscription and copy and paste crucial information and then cancel the subscription and start back-engineer stats/strategies by yourself.
Who wants to stay around for a full year and pay around 700£ just to get access to the same information with rarely new things coming?
Better to jump in and out every half year and see what's new and copy/paste and do the homework.

You might be thinking - I don't have a trading in-play simulation software - but there is one for free online that you can use.
It's provided by TradingTheMarket community (that's free) that you find on YouTube and Discord (forum).

Happy Hunting and Happy Winnings

I buy it from Ben at UTF for around 400£ as is worth every penny.
Automated or manually.
Goal and correct score markets.

Visit hes home site and drop him and message when he releases it next time.
Or if you are lucky he will sell you a copy.

I have not tested the free variant from TTM and in my opinion, an investment is a good investment when you get the tools that help to simulate and get a real edge without spending learning money on the exchanges.

Hope this helps.

Note when I put in data by hand I get the odds/stats from betexplorer dot com.

Today I was browsing a trading community where one member shared paid trading material.
I read the document and recognised the strength behind the selection procedure, so I decided to simulate both.
Maybe one or both will show promising results and can be added to my portfolio.

Note that one famous investor once said that three to four good investments are the same as twenty using diversification.
So my aim is to have two to three good and solid strategies in my portfolio, no more or less.

As Ryan at BTC said about hes LTD (his main core method) that he has been using for a decade without making any significant changes.
That is the way and path to follow, long-term strategies.

I reckon the simulation will be done around the end of Jun.

Cheers

I see you use Cotswold Racing in your portfolio, I’m not too impressed with their results:
400pts in 2.5yrs am I missing something here...? If you're not impressed with that then please do tell us which systems/ methods you're using I'll gladly pay you! 😅

Is there anyway you can apply a % rolling bank to all those selections? Can you apply different staking plans to see the outcome? I'm so rusty with different softwares and xl, been out of the game for 20yrs.

Your sarcasm is palpable.

Using the link to their results which I attached on 10/5/2023, their profit/loss figures utilizing an initial 1000 were on 1/1/2023 = 5327 and 28/6/2023 = 5312. A loss of just 15 and then add the £45/month membership fee a small matter of a further £270.

It's not just me who's "not too impressed" - Cotswold Racing - Results Update - Honest Betting Reviews

Hmm downswing since Feb. Still not seen much better from any tipsters in my lifetime. 5 months ds is a walk in the park for me. On the other hand I've never understood why people who're honestly up lifetime and are honestly a "pro" would wanna sell their selections, but if they are genuine then it's obvious all of them are going to reduce the price effectiveness massively once so many members get on board. Saying that though yesterday's selection Stay Alert wasn't backed at all and came a close second at 36's.
