early season betting on draws

It's early in the season and a lot of teams are still finding their feet so it's hard to gauge results, goals etc. So in theses early days of the season I have started looking at the draw result which bookies tend to give generous odds on . Hard to pinpoint these results so would never go for a treble or more but still can make a decent profit betting on TRIXIES or LUCKY 15s . You only need 2 draws out of 4 games to make a small profit on the lucky 15 and can make even more back with 2 out of 3 on the Trixie. If all your selections draw you are looking at a solid return on even a small stake. I guess betting like this you are not really studying the game much as the draw is mostly down to luck (almost a lottery). Has anyone on here tried doing this over a prolonged period? If so it would be interesting to see how it panned out. Checked out the English saturday games (Prem,Champs. Lge1,Lge2) and 41 games were played 16 ended in draws (39%) . So possible to achieve but you would need a fair slice of luck to get all 4 on a lucky15. More achievable on the trixie.

My brother always backs draws and i suppose the logic is that if the away side is considered to be a little bit better side than the home team it will some how level things up, when 3 points for a win came into effect the amount of draws went down and the amount of late goals went up according to experts i have read.
