Hello again everyone,

thought it was long overdue for a quick update to say I've been busy crunching more stats on this (and other things) and I have concluded the following which may help others in some way (it remains to be seen if it helps me!):


1. CS's rarely repeat in the same league on the same day, but you may get one or two repeating more than once per round (Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun) in a single league.


2. CS's rarely repeat for games starting at the same time, unless there are lots of them (think Saturdays at 3pm) and across different leagues.


3. All leagues seem to have the same 6/7 CS's appearing more frequently than the rest across the entire season, just finishing in slightly different orders.


4. Whilst some teams can have the same result for several games in a row, it's more common for CS's not to repeat game to game for teams looking at all leagues data.


5. There are definitely some pointers regarding Odd/Even totals by individual teams as to the whether the next result may be odd or even.


6. Any Handicap above 0.5 goals for the Fav is also a useful indicator for the possible number of goals in a game.


7. Each league has a different strike rate for Favs with certain odds, again this can be a useful pointer to the potential outcome for some games in certain leagues.



I've been adding some functionality to my match prediction system to collect and assess these stats automatically which is now almost complete, so I will start posting selections again once I've completed that (hopefully by the end of this month).


In the meantime as said I welcome your feedback and thoughts on the above, there's a lot more I've discovered but too much to write now and I am still evaluating them, so I will add those if relevant/trustworthy at a later stage.


Finally there's one thing that keeps cropping-up in my research and that is accounting for luck, which apparently is responsible for around 25-30% of results. If anyone has an idea of how you can incorporate that into your systems/strategies it would be interesting to hear, as unless the luck is with our selections that means we can only expect to win 70% of our bets based on any reasoning/system etc. (and that’s if we’re flipping brilliant tipsters!).


As always take this as something to be dissected and questioned rigorously, I would say I’ve had a better strike rate with CS's (started playing singles to cover my greed chasing a full house!) using the above principles but it’s just been such a slog to collect it all manually. So all opinions/experiences/hard stats will be appreciated as a distraction whilst I finish the coding.

I am struggling to see how you can use the CS 'facts' that you posted to make money.
What are the 'footballing' reasons for why, for example, "CS's rarely repeat in the same league on the same day"?
How can the result in one game influence the result of another, particularly when they kick off at the same time?
Do the players think "Game X is 0:0 we better try harder to score so our game doesn't finish 0:0 as well?"

I am not doubting what your research is telling you, but can't see how you can exploit it.

hi don't think you are doing this the way I would. pick three scores a match and use the 9 fourfolds as shown to do 36 trebles 4 in each line. if you keepthe scores low to medium pretty sur you will have a treble at some stage to cash out with. thanks
