Can This Be Done?

Jamie, I think, is the right hand man
I think the problem with BfSp data is that some odds would be actual and some would be guesstimated
Yes the digger is very useful but what you could do is use V3 for your criteria and use the digger then save it in slot 1 (V3) , say, and then open it in V4 and then save it in slot 2 (V4).
You can then open it in V4 and use all the extra tools to refine it.

Thanks mate I will do that
Just getting to grips with all the features really.
It's difficult not to refine things too much and reduce the profit and bets down too low!
Have you had a lot of success getting profitable systems from it?
I find its pretty easy to come up with things from a laying perspective but tricky finding backing systems.
How long have you been using it?

Keith

A member for 8+ years
most of my betting , now is laying, as you say its hard to find a backing system
have a look at place laying as I think the odds in the place market are terrible bad value for backing
Keith I'm always chopping and changing systems, but I have a couple of them that are ticking along, but you need a big wad, to be backing or laying and hope to make it full time, which I don't have.
Anyway I have hours of fun using HRB, and who knows maybe one day rodders, although I know this time next year I'll be still broke

Hi mate
I'm glad you have been a long term member that gives me done confidence!
Yeah I know what you mean about chopping and changing systems.
Do you use a bot to follow your systems or do you follow manually?
Stick with it, you will find that system one day!

Keith

Im in exactly the same position mate and I got that reply from Chris too (well some guy called Jamie actually)
Seems odd that in the stats it shows P/L to BFSP to place, back, lay whatever but they can't be downloaded in the qualifiers into excel? I've not actually tried this yet.
There was also an issue with the columns switching around when you switched between "stats" and "slider" buttons but they fixed that last night after I told them about it.
Shame there's no digger function in V4 at the moment either.
Keith

I think it's just a matter of v4 still being in beta, so some parts won't be upgraded (eg new fields in exports) while there are still bugs elsewhere to be ironed out.

It's well worth reading Chris's blog on the site - it gives you an idea of progress with v4.

I will do that mate thanks!

Not sure if BF's lawyers have caught on yet, for a commercial service/product to publish and use BFSP usually attracts a royalty fee.

Keith
yes I do use a bot, because I lay within odds limits also because it takes away "will I or won't I" if the odds are hovering around the limits
how do you quote a post with the posters name in it?

Press the "reply" button within the post you want to quote mate.

Thanks Keith
I see what pika means now, but I would assume RHB would be paying for them the same as paying for the forecast prices, which Chris told me came from Associated Press

I don't know but I'd guess that as Chris is already paying for a feed of forecast data, that he'd be paying for publishing BSP too.
