Bradford City

ey betting propositions for Bradford City in the 2025-26 League One season:
Main Season Markets
Promotion/Relegation:
• Bradford are featured in the relegation betting along with other newly promoted teams like Doncaster, Port Vale, and AFC Wimbledon NBC Sports Parimatch
• Early predictions suggest Bradford could “surprise us all” and finish in the top half of League One rather than struggle ESPN
Key Favourites for Promotion:
• Luton Town are early frontrunners (around 11/10 odds) for promotion back to Championship bet365 Forebet
• Huddersfield are second favourites (11/8 to 13/8), followed by Stockport, Cardiff, and Bolton bet365
Bradford City Specific Propositions
Season Position Bets:
• Top Half Finish - Good value given their strong start
• Mid-table finish (10th-15th) - Most realistic expectation
• Avoid relegation - Safe bet given their promotion momentum
Performance Metrics:
• Bradford started well with “three wins and two draws in first five rounds, sitting fourth in the table” The Fishy
• Their matches tend to be “high-scoring affairs: in six official games this season, four have gone over 2.5 goals” The Fishy
Betting Recommendations
Value Bets:
1. Bradford to finish top half - Good odds considering their strong start
2. Over 2.5 goals in Bradford matches - Their games tend to be high-scoring
3. Bradford to avoid relegation - Solid choice given promotion momentum
4. Graham Alexander to stay as manager all season - Stable management situation
Avoid:
• Bradford promotion bets (too early in League One)
• Bradford to win League One (unrealistic for first season up)
The consensus seems to be that Bradford will comfortably avoid relegation and could surprise with a top-half finish, making them a decent value bet for exceeding expectations rather than struggling as a newly promoted side.

Bradford are playing well and look a good well organised team. They are very well supported and although they have a tough looking game today I think they can deliver. However, 2/1 is skinny and Doncaster are decent at this level. Whatever it’s a far bigger attraction for me than watching the non event that today’s Premier League games have been dumped for.

2/1 is …. Fair odds … Score 2/1 to the City we score loads but also ship some , that’s part of the class is suppose . So I would expect Alexander to be bulking up central defence

My new footy sheets (after 6 games), suggests a low scoring game and in turn a draw, and at a seemingly value price.

The team ratings aren't too far removed from the actual league table. I have Bradford ahead of Stevenage.

I agree DuckandDive, that’s a very impressive looking piece of work. Looks clean and precise. I wish I could do that but my computer skills leave something to be desired. It’s an age thing. Much like jackform, I’m a pen and paper man.

I started on them last year, mid season. There was a you tube video from a guy called Kai Millett that got me on the way, and GPT helped with formulas. Trying to get the data input to a minimum if I want to expand to more euro leagues.

DuckandDive DuckandDive how much of that had to hand input

I have to copy/paste the data from a website, input the live odds and then go through each game on the drop down menu in the poisson sheet to then input those odds. The team ratings populates, then a copy and paste of those, data sort to produce the ordered list.

The coloured teams bit on the end is a screenshot of the league table, for comparison.
