Hi.
First post from me .
I signed up to Betfred last week .
Made a £30 deposit from our bank card .
Which was accepted.
I placed an £11 football acca bet . Which was accepted.
I tried to log in next day and found out they've closed my account, with no reason given.
I've been on to their support and they won't give a reason . They won't return my deposit without photos of bank card , passport, utility bill.
They didn't ask for any of this when I deposited my money.
It seems crazy to me .
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

You need to read their T&Cs - it is shoddy but it’s standard procedure from this crowd and probably most of the others.

Was the £11 football acca successful ?
Have you any "previous" with any of the other schmooks...i mean books ?
What are the customer support actually saying when you contact them - are they saying they know the reason for closure or they don't know ?

Ignore the shysters posing as bookmakers and use Betfair or some other exchange. The days of taking on these glorified accountants are over, sadly. Take a trip to the racecourse and see the sanitised betting ring. It would bring McCririck and all of the other colourful racing old timers to tears.

Yes done same to me today.iv been with them for years aswell.and spent loads.asking for id which i sent.then asking for more and more.so they need all our personal info n more.fuming jimmy.somethings giong on somewhere.they logged me straightbout before wanting all the id
