• Hi Guest, The software has been updated but I have not had a chance to tweak anything yet.
It took longer than I had hoped, so I just turned it on and hope everything is OK

Delboy99 , sorry my mistake weren't meant to be highlighted in blue , will be dutching the 3 scores and overs in all 3 games :D
... I just realiased that the spreadsheet you are using I found in my files earlier tonight. Looks like it originated with Steve Jones but obviously someone, maybe you, have added some of your own formula since then. I never used it to be honest but thought that it was worthy of keeping, perhaps for a rainy day. :)

D djb38 .... I notice that you prefer inplay and possibly trading. I am actually just he opposite, I have never been a big fan of Trading etc maybe because I did not profess to know an awful lot about it. Maybe that is why I am steeped in the traditional side of systems, which I have always been deeply interested in, and from an early age I always thought that there was a system somewhere out there just waiting to make me some money! I have spent heaps of time on these, learned things from trial and error and of course money spent on having to have these systems. Probably have calmed down somewhat over the past few years, but still tend to tinker on. Yes, it is great to see the seeds of trying to piece together a band of football enthusiasts on a predominant horse racing site, and hopefully our small band will grow into a larger community, long may it continue. ;)
I like a good system as much as the next guy if it turns a coin...
Inplay and trading continue to fascinate me as well though, and of course it’s always nice to gain ticks here and there. Opportunities still present in spite of the over population of bots. In the last couple of days I’ve seen a friendly match approach the 90th minute with the goal overs steaming in to 1.5 when they should be between 5 and 7. And just seen a tennis match drift from 2 to 6 and then steam back to 2 within seconds at the end of a set

..... what you doing with these then? Dutching the scores marked in Green for the two games? How did you finish yesterday, I note that you got Nurnberg correct but the other two went down? Maybe better luck today eh! ;)

Freiberg v Bremen 2-1
Wolfsburg v Dortmund 1-2
Bayern M v Frankfurt 4-1
Osnabruck v Hannover 2-2

.... I always think that dutching gives you a good chance of landing something within the framework, especially correct scores. Did you have to amend the original spreadsheet with your own required predicted scores, as I notice that these are not on the original Steve Jones spreadsheet? :)

... As you said earlier, you really like to have a dig at the long shots. Hope you have a big enough bag to collect your winnings! :)

I am reminded of being a youth at school in the days of there only being terrestrial TV. At school break time on a Monday morning, you could be assured of having a laugh over a program you had probably all watched. Moving on a few years and after the arrival of cable/sky TV, that 'fun' element dissipated due to too many channels and too much choice.

Perhaps, like now, after football gets back into full swing, we can make a pact to stay focused on one or two leagues. These top German leagues seem as good as any, as they tend to be high scoring and without any unwanted bias towards any particular team from us. They say it's best to specialise.

If you had done these, the annoying thing was 2 bets lost because Celtic scored 4+.
Hopefully when the football returns we should avoid those boring summer months scratching to find a game to bet on.
6 weeks today since the HA. Still breathing and virus dodged, at present. Hope you’re keeping well and getting out for a permitted socially responsible bit of exercise.
Shauno Shauno ..... hi John good to see you around, you must be continuing to dodge the virus successfully with your weekly visit to give blood. Hope you are still doing well amid all of this upset. I must admit when I dug this out it must have been years as I forgot all about it. May have been in the days when Rangers were an equal force to Celtic when they were both jockeying around for the Scottish title. I think that Rangers may be the weak link these days and really are still building some of their bridges after their demotion a while back. Been a long climb back, so probably still settling down. I see no reason why this system cannot be applied to two equally strong teams in the EPL, but I guess we will have a little wait for anything like that to happen. ;)

Newbie on the manor I think the serie A would be perfect on the basis for some reason Italians don't like going over 3 goals once its usually 3-0 they stop going for goals so the 2 teams would be for me Juventus of course and only one other at the present is Inter. but also if you look at some managers example J Mourinho his teams stopped playing after 2-0 (I'm Chelsea fan so annoying when we went 2-0 and stopped even though I think he is a god when you waited 37 years for first title I can't slag him off.. so the moral there maybe to look at managers that play that way as well yawn yawn. after saying all that about managers George graham would have been perfect candidate for correct score 1-0 1-0 1-0 along with Tony pulis

.... thanks for your comments and a warm welcome to the thread, hope you continue to enjoy. I don't think I am a very big fan or even fancy going for Italian teams, in fact I think from memory that I have already looked at these two teams and rejected them, particularly Inter. I still think we are on safer ground with the likes of mediocre teams from the EPL which are more familiar and probably more consistent for our purpose. :)

Welcome to the thread! I checked juve and inter and whilst they did hit regularly the odds made it not worthwhile unfortunately.
