Yesteryear Correct Score System - Part Two.

.... OK I thought that there was no harm in starting the fun system straight away from the kick off to the new season, just to see how it goes. So off we go and we have high hopes of landing a few correct scores.

...... well the first week did not go too well as we only netted one correct score for this system.
Burnley 1 v Brighton & H A 2
Leicester C 1 v Wolves 0
Newcastle U 2 v West Ham U 4
So only the Leicester game came within the boundaries of the system. Back for next week.

..... OK our fun system gets off its feet and enters week two. With this system it is a case of just what might have been had we had all the combinations linked up. Let's see how we do this week:-

..... well, it did not take long for our fun system to hit the heights with one winning acca correct score. Crystal Palace 0-0 and Wolves 0-1 were the two correct scores involved. If every one was linked it would be 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 bets, so this would have to be attained to get any profit. It may seem large or impossible, but it was done last season a number of times. So this acca would be 9.2 x 8 = 73.6 so on this occasion it did not provide winners. So it will be interesting following once again to see just what this serves up as a fun bet.

..... OK all aboard for week three of the fun system. Looks like three cracking matches where we seek to get accas from linked bets. All prices and teams attached. See how we do this week.

.... early days for our fun system while we wait for some of the teams to settle in a little. Two results were no good Brighton 0 v Everton 2, and Newcastle U 2 Sv Southampton T 2, the first one was won by the away side and we are looking for low homes. The second one had far too many goals for our liking so we were left with Burnley 1 v Leeds U 1 @ 7.8. Unofficially we could have had it linked with Spurs 1 Watford 0 but we only had three team slots on the spreadsheet available, so we left them out of the equation. So nothing much to shout about this week, so we can only hope that we can see some better results in the next batch of games around the 11th September.

..... the fun system resumes again after the International break, but we only have the two matches to focus on this weekend. So let us see how these perform. Not to hopeful this week as we have two strong aways and this is a home based system.

.... not much to shout about last week as only the Leicester match 0-1 came under the criteria as setout. 8.60 but as we only had two selections last week there was nothing to match it up to.
So this week we have all three again in action and we are hopeful.

.... not too bad this weekend as two of the teams came up with the correct scoreline and if they had been permed would have produced 96.6pts as 1-1 (8.4) x 2-1 (11.5) with Newcastle and Brighton matches lining up. Two matches permed would have cost 5x5 = 25 pts stake or three matches fully permed would have cost 5x5x5 = 125pts, even the latter would have only spelled out a 29 loss with a full host of various combinations which could have come up quite easily. This is still not so unworkable as a bet but needs a bit of bottle to go through with it in to it's full capacity.

…. Makes it a bit nonsensical when the system is based on three matches which in turn could all be permed together. Suppose for one week we will just have to put up with the inconvenience and ply our trades to the two matches.

If fully permed 13.5 x 11. 5 gives 155.25 against 5x 5 = 25 for two permed or 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 for the three matches permed 125 lines. As the Crystal Palace game was 2-2 this was a none match but still ended up 30 points in profit. Not so daft!

..... OK after the International Break and a blank week we resume the fun system and when fully linked up in theory, how things might unfold. There are only two of the chosen teams playing at home this weekend so it will not be so exciting.

...... not a very inspiring weekend for the Yesteryear fun system. For starters there were only two games instead of the usual three which certainly does not help our aim in getting correct score matchups. These two games yielded two away wins and when we are looking for homes we are way off the mark here. Newcastle v Spurs resulted in a 3-2 win for the away side, two scored by Messrs. Kane and Son. The other match produced six goals also which was way too high for our purposes and Leicester comfortably saw off a Manchester United side disjointed and apparently void of ideas. So we look to next weekend and hope for better results.

...... the fun system will have to take a break this weekend as there are not enough games to make it operate in the manner it was meant to be when first mooted. So back next week hopefully when I am sure that there will be enough games to restart the system again.

...... after a blank week last weekend due to there not being enough teams to operate the fun system, we are back in operation this weekend with three matches that look as if they stand a chance of doing the business. All teams and odds are included in the attachment. Let us see if we can find some accumulators this week.

..... a hard week for the fun system last week with two very strong candidates in Arsenal and Chelsea being involved in two of the matches, so it left very little to work on. There was one correct score however as Wolves won 2-1 and at odds of 11.00 there was nothing to marry it up with, so nothing spectacular to report. We go again this week with perhaps what looks like a more even playing field for this system. Lets see how it goes.

..... the fun system had a near miss this weekend when Brighton 1-1, and Leeds 1-1 hit the correct score and registered a 62.16 double. Had Crystal palace won 2-1 instead of 2-0 that would have been 714.73 and not really so daft. So we march on next weekend and the selections will be up a little later.
