1710 Kem Ayr Harbour /Crystal Casque the only 2 horse who have achieved higher ratings than todays

Went close in a similar event 3 runs ago at this course, since then has ran in 2 better class races back down in class for this race looks the one to beat. Down in OR and down in weight.

Bell shot has already failed at a slightly lower level than this

Chalk Mountain is in form but his 2 wins are way below this level may struggle in this field

Crystal Casque went close in his last race failing only by 1/2 a length in a similar event that was over 8f but has gone up in OR and weight

Ayr Harbour for sure although it looks like Bell shot is poised for a win going by his numbers and probably come late.
Chalk mountain although in rude health is a bit behind on numbers but it can only beat what it has to beat in the race and done it well.
That would be mine in that order.

It seemed to have something in hand the last twice that is what attracted me to it
As I said it can only beat what is in the race.
Will have a look at the rerun to see if it may get another race. .

Warwick 3 30
Long Draw

This horse possesses a lot of traits that characterise a VDW type selection imho.

The trainer got it nicely handicapped and after it's win, gave a little break, and after a very good run lto,I think he will want to get a couple of wins before the big guns are out

LD was a tad unlucky last time and I hope with a clear error free round he can gain the day.

Dutching was the way to go Chesham, I thought obviously that my selection had enough factors in his favour to secure the win.

Curragh 1.40
Giselle was odds on to beat Bedtime Story on her debut, who then went on to win the Chesham (no pun intended 😆) by 91/2 lengths.

Would VDW consider Giselle a certainty today??

A couple of races I rated earlier. There might be one or two more later.

14.40 Nwm

Nashwa 9-541.62289561214
Tamfana 9-218.520891-965

Inspiral 9-541.920294356

Quietness 9-122.3181942310
Cabrera 9-13.516791-1811
Chorus 8-80.916182-41214
Incensed 8-111.115486-476
Typical Woman 8-50.613671-1858

The 14.40 is a bit trappy (no bet)

The 15.15 looks like it could go to either Quietness or Cabrera.

Quietness needs to prove itself on today's track.

A Dutch bet for the two
