Bath should be named Blood Bath today.I get you T Tufnel very poor but i think were making the mistakes of betting in these crap races.
Look at tap dancer third run is in 15 grand novice and finishes third then gets two decent runs this was its first handicap.
Then look at winner runs third race in 15 grand novice down field then wins this.
There just not betting races to be honest i bet tap dancer to by way for fun.
Were as well betting in race with all first timers on breeding .
This is deffinatly my last race on horses with no form in race to surprise us.
VDW in fairness, told us to avoid the lower class races at the very beginning. Its possible being taught a real lesson today in races to avoid so might work on our favour long term.
The winner, HK FOURTEEN (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chepstow on 26 August 2024 where the gelding finished tenth of fourteen, beaten by 11 ¼ lengths. Tony Carroll’s representative's explanation that the gelding benefitted from the drop in trip to 5 furlongs from 7 furlongs was noted. HK FOURTEEN (IRE) was routine tested.Love to hear how they're going to explain the massive improvement and gamble on HK Fourteen.
Why they bother doing these routine tests after a horse improves to win is beyond me. Drugs have got nothing to do with it. It's blatant training on the racecourse. The winner, HK FOURTEEN (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chepstow on 26 August 2024 where the gelding finished tenth of fourteen, beaten by 11 ¼ lengths. It wouldn't happen in Australia or Hong KongWhy they bother doing these routine tests after a horse improves to win is beyond me. Drugs have got nothing to do with it. It's blatant training on the racecourse.
They still schooled it on the course up until today. As did several other horses who all won and showed completely transformed ability after having the 3 or 4 qualifying (or is that "toodle rounds") runs for a mark.
True. And those countries and the US have way better prize money for having pools based betting. The UK & Ireland will never learn and continue to see punters leave the sport. It wouldn't happen in Australia or Hong Kong
They are operating within the rules. Nothing to stop them entering a horse over the wrong distance until they get a handicap mark. Many trainers do that. Trainers are running horses for the owners, not us. The key is to spot what the trainers is up toThey still schooled it on the course up until today. It happens far too often and it stinks.
HK Fourteen 40/1 (LTO). Opened 7/1 today and backed into 11/4. It may have had crap form, but the warning was there. Why they bother doing these routine tests after a horse improves to win is beyond me. Drugs have got nothing to do with it. It's blatant training on the racecourse.

It’s got to be one of the most blatant wrong tripped examples ever? The drop-in trip helped 1m2f > 5f160yds!!!
Prominent, pressed leaders 2f out, pushed along to lead over 1f out, soon ridden and hung badly left, ran on well and went clear inside final furlong, readily (trainer's rep said, regarding the apparent improvement in form, that gelding benefitted from the drop in trip to 5f from 7f) (op 7/1)
