I can see the logic. Many times when we look at the results we think to ourselves 'there's no logical reason why that horse won!!'. Therefore we can only assume that to be illogical can be the most logical thing to do. :)

That aside.....could you check I'm doing this correctly with a race ( and horse ) I am interested in.....6.40 Chelmsford ( Rosie Powers ).

Handily, HRB have now got the LTO Info on the Live Odds page which makes it easier to run through the rules.

I am going by the Early odds and by using the Rules in your post #14.......I am getting a pairing with Rule 2.

lowest priced un-placed LTO ( On My Way )
2nd choice is the lowest priced placed LTO ( Mishal Star )

Is that correct? As I say, I am interested in Rosie Powers but it will be interesting to see how these two selections run against the market leaders ( HR & C ). Thanks.

As the Forecast prices are the same ( with regards to order ), I see where I am going wrong.

Lowest priced refers to the current forecast price for this race and not, as I was doing, taking the LTO lowest price ( placed or unplaced - as per rules ). My bad.....but it could be good!!......as I may have a new winning system. :dreads:

Comment: I have considered doing something more with the system selection rules, such as just working with the first selection. Staking as per yesterday as I don't like too many bets :( . Crossed doubles down the card might be an idea for an outlay of 24 points?
 
I couldn't find a race to interest me today as I don't 'do' Epsom due to the nature of the track. So this post is just faffing about trying to avoid the dreaded gardening :crazy: .
