Newbie looking for advice on getting a bet placed

Morning all,

I’m a complete newbie to betting, never even bought a lottery ticket!

Looking for some advice on placing a bet that’s pretty out there - a faked death. Tried Sky, Bet365 and William Hill, none of which will give me odds, let alone take the bet. Just keep telling me, ’the Traders won’t give odds’.

I’ve been trying to contact Paddy, but all their contacts are down, (what’s that all about?) and I don’t have or want, Twatter!

Much appreciate if anyone can advise me on a bookie likely to take this bet, please?

Have you tried 22bet?
The site has been recommended to me for its betting and gaming variants but I have only just started to explore it. If I find anything that might be useful to you, I'll let you know.
The world of bookmakers is very varied and sometimes you don't have time to get to know them all. Many of them look alike and it is necessary to go through them well to find the games and odds that interest you.
Anyway, it's a question of checking them out.

If you need help getting to know most of the sportsbooks that are out there, I'd recommend you to look for sites that offer reviews made by professional bettors. There are plenty of those sites actually, you just have to be careful on which one you choose, it has to be legit. My favorite for this is the Bookmaker's Review site, they have all types of info, the kind of info you need to choose a book and place your bet.
