New Year Pyramid Wager

zhilen111

Newbie
The concept behind this pyramid betting strategy is to initiate at the apex (step 1) with a single bet having odds of approximately 2.0. If the initial bet is successful, the pyramid construction continues in a top-down fashion. However, if it loses, the pyramid concludes prematurely.

The winnings from a successful bet at step 1 are divided by 2 and allocated to two separate bets with odds around 2.0 and 3.0 (step 2).

Should there be any winnings, step 3 is built by evenly distributing them among bets with odds around 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0. Steps 4 and 5 extend the pyramid-building process to its completion.

While this strategy is intended for amusement, feel free to contribute suggested bets or create your own pyramid. Participation is encouraged, especially if my pyramid fails to progress beyond the apex step!

For my initial step, I'm venturing into darts with an optimistic £10 on Van Gerwen at 2.02 odds. I'm not too bothered if I lose this one; after all, it's all in good fun, especially if Taylor wins it for Sid Waddell's wife!

Best of luck if you decide to join in!

Hi Z zhilen111 I was just thinking about doing Trixie bets at around Even money last night. Works out that I would need a strike rate of 1 in 4 ( 25% ) for a full house to break even, with any other winnings ( doubles ) adding to the bottom line profit.

That's a work in progress but in the meantime I'll have a go at your fun idea.

5.45 Wolverhampton - Bold Style ( £10 at 2.00 after 2% comm. deducted - Exchange bet )

Good luck....

Re-reading your above Z zhilen111 I take it that Step 5 is the completion of the pyramid and we would collect winnings and start over again. That's if we haven't been wiped out along the way to Step 5.

So......with winnings split between bets at all levels.....

Step 1 - 1 bet @ Evens ( 2.0 )
Step 2 - 2 bets......... 1 @ 2.0......1 @ 3.0
Step 3 - 3 bets......... 1 @ 2.0......1 @ 3.0.......1 @ 4.0
Step 4 - 4 bets......... 1 @ 2.0......1 @ 3.0.......1 @ 4.0........1 @ 5.0
Step 5 - 5 bets..........1 @ 2.0.......1 @ 3.0......1 @ 4.0........1 @ 5.0.......1 @ 6.0
End..
