ran well but I thought that this on was tentative at the fences. Finished well with gives me hope for the future.

Peaky Boy 1.45 Chel​

I will have a small interest on this one. Interesting to see this one put straight into a handicap chase. Henderson says he schooled well and hopefully he will jump round soundly.
 
Always liked Adrian Masseys site. I was in touch with him a couple of times. His work on Chasers is much appreciated. He later divides it up into distances on his website which again gives me a clearer picture of whats going on. He used to run for charity and raised a large amount of money.
I still like to look in now and again.

It was good to see

FLORENCETHEMACHINE (IRE)​

have a good run round Exeter and win going away its jumping wasn't up to much FTO but showed a marked improvement this time. Bit of money for this one before the off. I remember seeing 2.00 but missed it so had to take a bit less. Still it was better than nothing. Hope this one finds another opportunity.

Montys Soldier 12.50​

gets along. First time chasing and put into a handicap. Lightly raced type. As Christian Williams says he uses the natural enviroment to train his horses and a trip to the beach is sometimes a nice change of scenary for a horse. Well worth a look at his profile on Twitter (X)

A bit awkward at some of the fences and hopefully learned a lot from that experience. Good run. finished 2nd. The winner Scorpian King with a few chases under his belt went through the race well to win staying on in rainy conditions (soft)
 

I Shut That Dor 1.15 Wincanton​

Just a small bet for me. Came back to form LTO and Trainer Joe Tizzard is in good form.
 

ELDORADO ALLEN 2.25 Warwick​

This one had wind surgery before poor runs at Cheltenham and Aintree. Drops into a 0-150 today. Freddie Gingel has ridden this one a few times so knows the horse. Would have liked to have seen this one a bit bigger in the betting market. Teetering on the edge of a small bet but price putting me off.
 
I personnally think it is the bet of the day Paul Brown Paul Brown think track will suit ideal and they will struggle to keep up with it.
I get the price bit short but i think is fair well i got 9/4 to be fair but still i think will win this well.

At its best ELDORADO ALLEN would leave these standing IMO but its been far from that lately
 
Thats why i do like the cover bet angle where four seconds could get money back at least every time.
But they have you every way wiht cutting odds in place betting cover betting early pay outs, just seem to drive at making it impossible for value which in turn makes it a lossing game and a sign that temprement is likely more important than ever.
But the point with temprement is it makes alot of work for no fun on most days and then you think is it worth it at all .
