Mounting Yard Analysts

Hi all,

First time poster, enjoying reading the forum.

Was wondering if anyone was aware of any mounting yard tipsters/analysts operating in the UK or IRE either publicly or privately?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds quite specialised, haven't heard of any tipsters doing it although it sounds like the sort of thing some of the betfair traders would be into-although not specifically what you're after there's a guide to paddock watching on nag-nag-nag.co.uk and I think there's a fairly detailed chapter on analysing a horse physically, psychologically and otherwise in one of Ainslie's books-b2yor.co.uk is good for this sort of thing as well. Otherwise ARAZI91 ARAZI91 is probably your man for that sort of information

Thanks BH. Am certainly looking for an experienced person for it, not myself doing it as I'm confident I will be terrible! Keen to have discussions with anyone who currently does it in UK/IRE or elsewhere.

Yes it could be very helpful if you do find a genuine expert, I imagine few people know how to do it properly-a big edge there if you can find it, good luck!

I think the main issue will be the nature of the information, if it really is mounting yard/paddock insights that's desired I'd imagine it would be difficult to put out tips that people could follow in time, as the window you'd have would only be a minute or two. Probably best to do it oneself unfortunately!

Very true. But I may be able to help out an analyst with making that go faster. Would imagine some of the big punters (Newfield etc) would have people on course?

H happyclapperfan yeah, definitely-they had a guy on Britain at the bookies (not a great programme although bits of it were interesting) who did pretty much what you've described, going there in person-he wasn't a big-staking punter in any way, just a casual £5 E/W sort of a level but I get the impression in terms of ROI he probably does pretty well for himself mainly by doing that.

Cheers BH, will have a look.
Still surprised that no one can easily name anyone. For a racing jurisdiction the size and scope of the UK I would've thought someone would be providing these services publicly.

It's probably at least partly to do with people being paranoid about protecting their edges (as usual) with a traditional tipping/analysis service you can always keep some cards close to your chest even while communicating with members, bit harder to do that with mounting/paddock info I guess? Shame really, there's not many places on the web or otherwise where individuals will freely give out useful information.
