When Santini raced last week he did not even have a BHA Hurdle Rating . Hypothetically, If he had been rated then the BHA would have to have used his stable companion, Chef Des Obeau who he beat on debut and would have got a BHA Of around 136 for that, as CDO won a non Handicap off a BHA 129 . The highest BHA in last weeks race was 147 and seeing as CDO was again raised to 145 (the revised Mark was given before last weeks race.) with that in mind Santini would have been well in, had last weeks race been a Handicap. Santini has now been given a BHA Rating Of 150.
He will make a good chaser in time.
