The most interesting race for me today is the 2 10 plumpton.
I have this between three horses although the ground and track can sway it one way or other.
The top one I SEE YOU WELL you could say disappointed last time but the race before it ran really well in second round here.
Has won round here 5 times and although won on soft looks like good ground suits better , and has won of slightly higher mark and back down after last run has obvious chance.

Then we have MOVE THE CHAINS this horse has been out of form but showed a more encouraging run last time weakening late on in heavy ground.
This horse has won of this mark but seems to keep its best for lingfield and likes the heavy or soft ground, although its run well enough on good to soft that again was lingfield so basing these to fact made me feel its wrong race more than anything for it.

Finally we have SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE this horse looks well handicapped on best form and run really well after break last time which is unusual for it so very encouraging run.
Last three runs round here where poor but its the mark thats important dropped to very winable mark and track and going should suit looks like this is a very wise race for this horse and with jockey keeping ride a big plus evry thing looks right to me to go close.

The interesting race of the day for me is the 2 50 wincanton.
Again mention three horses i first was interested in.

First one was HARJO who seemed to improve last time out, but for horse that is fav it has only won a point race and looks alittle one pace and i think this distance round here alittle on the short side as run well over carlisle so would maybe need 3miles here.

Second one is PILSDON PEN this horse seemed to have improved last couple runs after break, winning round here last time and is the opposite of harjo in this is as far as likely wants.
Been raced 6lbs could make this alot tougher although i think it is alogical race for it to run in could not rule out at all.

Third horse is MIDNIGHT MIDGE now this horse loves it round here has won of higher mark round here and now had two runs to put it spot on and claiming 7lb of its back looks like could be spot on to run big race here. Run wide whole way last time could have been to get it right for this specific race.
Any drying ground would be plus for it also and would be surprised if not right there.

Well had first and second but compleatly wrong way round but i think that just justifyed when you look at times ground was lot slower than was forecasted and just turned race on its head.
 
Well the race that iterested me most today as the 3 10 newbury. I had four horses i looked at here.

First one was ETALON breed to be chaser but i thought possibly good going would suit it but run well in soft and heavy so possibly any going for this one. Obviously first chase makes it a worry but is consistant and i would exspect decent run from it here.
distance could be alittle short but interesting runner.

Second one is MARTATOR all this horses best form was in france so impossible to judge with confidence.
But one thing for sure will love the ground big plus exspecially from this trainer who is going really well at moment.
Since came over not done anything like it did in france but i noticed have put the cheeks on now which in won well in france with and after couple races in maybe not soft enough ground i think will improve lets see how it jumps.

Third one is MR GREY SKY now they have relised to let it go in front instead of hold it seemes to have made this better horse this year and ground will be fine , But is stepping up in class here and wil be big test and i feel although cant discount might just be setting it up for some thing.

Fourth and final horse is GALLIC GEORDIE the fast pace will suit this hold up horse and wont mind ground.
So can see this staying on at finish when some are weakening.
does look a bit old to be improving and possible some of the younger horses will improve past it today but could run well.

I have backed Mr Grey Sky in this race. Interestingly when I looked at this race
last night I did not perceive Martator as even being a contender.
Of the others you put up I have Gallic Geordie in front of Etalon. I found
it somewhat difficult to rate Etalon so this horse may be capable of showing
improvement.
One you don't mention but I have as being in second place is In the Air.
 
Well the younger horses where first and second as thought with third staying on but outclassed.
 
Well today its not easy to find jump race of interest but will side for the 2 55 exeter.

First horse to look at here is ENJOY YOUR LIFE this horse won easily round here last time beating mumbo jumbo into the bargain.
But for those who says weight dosnt matter which obviously it really does and some more than others, this horse is up 7lb and i noticed it looks like better horse with some good in the ground so possible the weight shift or should say higher rating could find this a bit tougher in the soft ground.
But being v williams horse you cant rule it out .

The second one is MUMBO JUMBO who i mentioned run agasint enjoy your life, This horse fell at 11th fence race before when making ground and its just possible run out of puff next time which was that run and will come on more than enjoy your life plus is of same mark.
there is down and upside to him one never won a race and on other side of fence has run really well on softer ground making me feel with the weight and ground should at least get closer to enjoy your life.Also lb claim on could make all the differance.


Third horse in this is TOP OF THE BILL this horse looks like steady progress and run well last time staying on round here also.
Of a winning mark over hurdles so should be fine in that regard nad if can stay over 3 miles in hurdles the distance shoudnt be a worry either.
The cheeks do seem to make a differance to this horse and i see keeping them on this time.
Only worry i do have is not sure its chaser just yet.

Fourth one i looked at is IN REM this horse won round here on ehavy ground and just up 1lb so although i feal this might be bit classier for it you could not leave out if ground bottomless.
Did win over hurdles round here to and twice at warwick so cant say its paceless either but i feel although will be there one might find it out.

Really struggled today with race but finally decided to go for the 1 55 ascot. Not the greatest race to analyse but al i can see.

The first one here is PERSIAN TIME run really well first race back and first chase with lallygag well behind who already had run so no reason to fear that one i see. Has good form round here over hurdles and of same mark for last run must be seen as positive.
Will stay strong and must have big chance in this.Ground should suit also.

Second one is HOMME PUBLIC possibly not as good as these over hurdles but in last two runs and wins proved its deff going to be better chaser and i think ground ideal. i feel might just be a little underestimated in this race and small field will suit too.

Well out of all todays racing decided on the 1 50 ascot todays race of interest.

First horse in this is CAP DU MATHAN this horse ran a decent race last time first run back behind boothill over arace i believe to short now.
So will appreciate the step up in distance.
I think would prefer softer ground ideal and with that race being round here also could possibly be a pipe opener for this.

Second one is TRIPLE TRADE again beaten by boothill but you can assume boothill had come on for the run and was even better , And going by horse behind in both boothill races i rate this slightly better form. The only worry i have is this horses best form does seem over shorter and will it stay well enough. I do think they are the only two horses with anything looking like form in race hence why i picked this race.

Only first one didnt have winner in it so far and i fancied the second in that strongly. So there getting winners with shortning field.
 
Well i did say on the merry xmas page get the study done the day before so cant preach and not do as they say.
I know its xmas day and people are having family time but decided to get my interested horses for tomorrow down.
And interesting i have a xmas bonus of four races which i have covered in a yankee tomorrow already on.
All though i will mention two horses in each race as possible danger there is no doubt i have backed the first mentioned in each race in yankee so far.
Anyway we will get in to the races now.

First race is the 2 10 wetherby where i really like SANTOS BLUE this horse ran second to crambo no less which i did bet to win on saturday.
and last time out ran really well up in class where weakened late on where crambo finished in front again by more but we see why as three miles suits him.
But santos now back down in distance and dropped remarkably in class and dropped a pound too you would think is shoe in at 15/8 currently.
The other horse i looked at in this was THE FOUR SIXES who looked like improving type and changed stables too.
But i honestly think might be running for second in this.

Second race is the 2 45 wetherby where i like OUR JET this horse had dropped mark last time after a couple of poor runs second last run maybe needed, But the put cheeks on it for first time last run where right up there whole way looked differant horse and back to best.Had wind surgery too.
Been raised again but if the cheeks work again dropped in class value wise i think there is big chance can go in again.
I do think you could see a improvement from CORNERSTONE LAD in this race is well handicapped loves it here has had run to put it right but again has race on its hand to beat our jet.

Third race is the 2 52 fontwell where i think EDISON KENT could go in again this horse showed fast improvement last time after wind op.Was hurdle race but trainer had three winners last five runners and usually chase form even better than hurdle form if works, So of same mark as that clear cut win surely the trainer deciding to go chasing instead of other hurdle run things he has found a oppertunaty to go in again here.
Has run few chases before and run as if possible wind problem as weak finishing but no sign of that last time.
Also thought PILOT SHOW has showed enough to run well last couple runs showed improvement but little high in weights and it all depends on edisons chasing to be fair.

Fourth and final one is the 3 13 wincanton where this fits in to the santos blue form and i like LORD SNOOTIE who just finished half length infront of santos last time weakened badly in run in and this is better race than one santos runs in, But still drop in class and also this horse run cracking race in ireland where they put first time tounge strap on and have left it of for first two runs back now back on and fit as flee from that run looks nailed on to run big race in this.This horse dropped a pound also is geering to win of this mark and this could be the day for sure.
In this race SABRINA possibly did need run last time after break as its run before hand at ayr did look like was going right way.
So i would deff exspect better run today.I did notice goshhowposh did fall in lords race but was beat at time and dont see any reason why should trouble selection which in turn ruled out royal pretender who has weight differance with that one to possibly turn tables.
