• Hi Guest, The forum will be moving hosts on 26 July and as such will be closed from Midday until the move has completed.
As we will be with new hosts it may take a while before DNS get updated so it could take while before you can get back on the forum.
I think it will take at least 4 hours but could easily be 48!

  • There seems to be a problem with some alerts not being emailed to members. I have told the hosts and they are investigating.
  • Sorry for the ongoing issues that you may have been experiencing whilst using the forum lately

It really is frustrating when the forum slows down or Server Error 500 pops up.

Apparently the hosts acknowledge there is a problem.
Thank you for using our services and sorry for the experienced delay!
Unfortunately, these errors are due to a higher server load. Our senior department knows about the issue and they are working towards a permanent resolution of the issue, however, I'd advise you to consider using our new cPanel cloud solutions: https://www.tsohost.com/web-hosting

I will have to investigate what the differences are with what We have know compared to the alternative service they want us to migrate to.
    Keep safe.

Hi all,
I gave racing a while after the return to settle down, but nothing seems to be going right.I operate on two levels, systems (30%)and form study(70%).Things were doing well up until the lockdown ,but since the return the trends have become very unpredictable. The datasets built up after racing started up again show very little similarity to what came before the lockdown.
Is anyone finding this in other sports in particular horse racing and footy, and of course this time of the year Conkers :)

I dont use much form now but systems mainly at present, i have found things pretty similar myself for my old systems, i have some new ones but have not been going two months yet so cannot really comment on those yet.

Also that is the reason i switched to systems though was when i started with racing again in 2013, after leaving off in 1995/6 when finding form reading was getting harder, and then again still found form reading was just as hard, systems are hard also but i see a glimmer of light at least with them gradually.

I think its possible that the two month racing lock down did sabotage some plans and intentions which may have worked against us punters as well as connections, but if correct these things should even out over time.

Agree the race cards are poor and full of unknowns and more importantly unknowable

When it first came back the form was, for me, all over the place and although it's improved I'd still say the flat at least, for my stuff, is full of 'noise'.

Today I had one of the few serious bets on the flat I've had in the last couple of months.
