If you can't bl**dy win then at least get place

eeyore eeyore You do know that the races that bookies offer extra places on are not picked randomly and for no reason.

Why not try again but, this time pick the races that no bookie is offering anything on. In addition, avoid 20 runner handicaps, maidens, NHF etc.

yes i thanks for reminding me i always been taught look at the hardest race first if you can get that right the others would not be so hard right
sorry hard or should i say bad habit die hard at the moment its not enjoyable so need a break so been reading my uncle papers god bless him
there quite a few that used the daily mail paper but that's a no no now as the paper no longer give ratings or anything really waste of time only tips from tipster and more expensive also there are ones use the daily mirror here a question do anybody use the daily papers for systems anymore
anyway the horses are off limits if i got any sense roll on the football for this challenge as got plenty of ideas to see if i can make it work must have PAD good luck what ever you do

Two points I would add. Never ever have Frankie for a place. And always use form for places. Not potential, not trainers, not jockeys, but form. I like EW horses. I have tons of places, I back a lot of horses and I always aim, not for the winner necessarily, but a value bet that should place at least. I like that approach unless its a short price but value. Like Bay Bridge when it was odds against. Watch Frankie on Port Fortuna, he eases off at the last minute, because he cant win and Frankie doesn't try if he cant win or go close, allowed my horse Ornellaia to DH at 40s. Its not the size of the field either, but how many are genuine contenders. Some races are full of dead wood. The more you cut out younger horses who improve at different rates the better. That's why big handicaps can be a profitable field. Not 3 yr old handicaps. They might look daunting but usually aren't. The two biggest factors that can nullify form are: accurate going reports/changing ground and where will the jockeys go? Because most are like sheep and sheep are not very bright and are unpredictable. Of course there are clever jockeys, just like some sheep are brighter than others, but they can be over bet and negate any possible value.

Frankie Dettori rode my horse into a place lto and made myself and a lot of my pals out here very happy.
Did enough to get him qualified for the Cambridgeshire , so looking forward to that.
