  • Sorry for the ongoing issues that you may have been experiencing whilst using the forum lately

    It really is frustrating when the forum slows down or Server Error 500 pops up.

    Apparently the hosts acknowledge there is a problem.

I have devised a lay system based on Patternform Speed Ratings which I have been running now for a couple of months. Whilst I am sure it can be improved upon it has in the period generated a return of 13pts after deduction of Betfair commission. The prices taken range from odds on, and I usually try to keep below 12, but sometimes I have to place my bets early and settle for BSP if I am heading out for the day, which in the case of a drifter can move out quite spectacularly - the largest price laid at has been 42.

I usually lay to a fixed liability, but for ease of recording a running total on the thread I'll look for each selection to earn 0.95 pts (1 point less 5% commission), and will accept BSP for all selections.

I'll try to put up a lay a day from hereon in. Happy for all feedback both positive and negative, though 'constructive' criticism is preferable for any negative feedback.
