• Hi Guest, The forum will be moving hosts on 26 July and as such will be closed from Midday until the move has completed.
As we will be with new hosts it may take a while before DNS get updated so it could take while before you can get back on the forum.
I think it will take at least 4 hours but could easily be 48!

  • There seems to be a problem with some alerts not being emailed to members. I have told the hosts and they are investigating.

  • Sorry for the ongoing issues that you may have been experiencing whilst using the forum lately

It really is frustrating when the forum slows down or Server Error 500 pops up.

Apparently the hosts acknowledge there is a problem.
Thank you for using our services and sorry for the experienced delay!
Unfortunately, these errors are due to a higher server load. Our senior department knows about the issue and they are working towards a permanent resolution of the issue, however, I'd advise you to consider using our new cPanel cloud solutions: https://www.tsohost.com/web-hosting

I will have to investigate what the differences are with what We have know compared to the alternative service they want us to migrate to.
    Keep safe.

Cheltenham Festival

Which horses have caught your eye so far with an eye to Cheltenham
I loved Bob Olinger from the run behind Ferny Hollow, at the time my thoughts were if he’s not fast enough to beat Ferny Hollow he will avoid him and win one of the other Novice Hurdles, since then he’s won twice and again looked superb both times.
Youmdor won easily in a very fast time in Gowran and my thoughts was a genuine Triumph Hurdle contender, since then he fell at the last when about to win a decent juvenile race in Fairyhouse. I still think this one is pretty good.
Sir Gerhard won a Down Royal bumper in a time I rated the best bumper performance since 2016/2017 season, formerly an exceptional maiden P-T-P winner, this horse could be the next superstar.

Any other posters had any strong thoughts about any horses destined for the festival, obvious/less obvious ?
See if we can uncover some gems.

job done proves the worth of times in jump racing.
got good prices on those two ante post , did the double this morning at shorter prices
unfortunately I also had a nice double this morning 5/1 Bob Olinger to win by 4 lengths or more and 5/1 sir gergard to win by 3 lengths or more with betvictor , coming down the hill was counting the money but SG was closed down late.
Youmdor was disappointing never made the triumph and got stuffed in the boodles
