• Hi Guest, The forum will be moving hosts on 26 July and as such will be closed from Midday until the move has completed.
As we will be with new hosts it may take a while before DNS get updated so it could take while before you can get back on the forum.
I think it will take at least 4 hours but could easily be 48!

  • There seems to be a problem with some alerts not being emailed to members. I have told the hosts and they are investigating.

  • Sorry for the ongoing issues that you may have been experiencing whilst using the forum lately

It really is frustrating when the forum slows down or Server Error 500 pops up.

Apparently the hosts acknowledge there is a problem.
Thank you for using our services and sorry for the experienced delay!
Unfortunately, these errors are due to a higher server load. Our senior department knows about the issue and they are working towards a permanent resolution of the issue, however, I'd advise you to consider using our new cPanel cloud solutions: https://www.tsohost.com/web-hosting

I will have to investigate what the differences are with what We have know compared to the alternative service they want us to migrate to.
    Keep safe.

Been working through trends for each race of day 1 so far and intend to do all the days before we get to the racing. I've done 20 years/ 10 years and 5 years where applicable. The aim was to keep as many qualifiers and avoid odds/ odds position etc that may change on the day. The hope is that the 5 year trends are more likely to produce the key candidate and the longer trends gives the others to consider. Some may be almost identical, but I tried to go through the filters I like without consulting each set.

I also emailed Chris @ HRB to see if we can get antepost qualifiers in these bigger races. Don't know if it's possible and it probably wont come before Cheltenham, so it will be the night before the qualifiers show.

A lot have gone off at short prices, hence the exp wins is quite high. 4 winners had a last run p/r ratio between 0 and 0.1 from 9 qualifiers.

"4 winners had a last run p/r ratio between 0 and 0.1 from 9 qualifiers."

BD meets this criteria.

My Tent or Yours failed to win in 2014, however didn't go off fav, whereas all others did.

I would like to see the fav romp home but the ground might make this a snug victory rather than a dominant one.

I feel Mick Jazz will run a big race and price seems fair to me . The French bred hails from a stable with tremendous hurdling talent and it is interesting he is Elliot's sole choice. Was crying out for a faster pace last time at Leopardstown in his prep , but travelled really strongly within the race up to a point. Im sure Elliot plays the long game and there was plenty left to be worked on. Before that won the Ryanair Hurdle at Leop. again when Faugheen bailed out. Has consistently improved since Oct 2016. Elliot has a very good record with Tongue Tied runners in the UK within their first 5 runs with the application , and i see the TT is reapplied (first time for Elliot - last time was way back when with Harry Fry). Has to improve 10-12lbs to win this but won't mind the conditions, faster pace and big field could play to his style and if the TT has a positive effect then i'm hoping for a place at least. Might play in the without fav markets as well on the XCH.
