I guess you're right - looking at it from that angle - I'd forgotten that my bets with Lads, VC, BF Sportsbook, Totesport, in the past, were reduced to small stakes even to SP.
Anyway, it's going to be interesting to see if I get to keep the 2% comm. or if they've made a boob...
My guess is that they will allow people to choose a package and those ('the mugs') that choose the 8% comm. (with free spins) will be the 'safest' and the 2% will be pushed out over the long term.

I would imagine implementing the PC cost them plenty of liquidity and just as the Bookmakers seek to replace restricted customers the special offers flow. Only they know the cost effectiveness of this MO but it seems arse about face to me. No PC and they would still be getting there good earn from those who have left, and Re the Bookmakers many of those they have prevented via restriction if allowed to continue would have done back there winnings and for some plenty more on top.
