Bankbuilding and Daily Action. Staying Alive. Footy/Snooker.

Opened betting account about start of September. I've bet near enough everyday since then. I've only ever deposited about £400 but bet £5200 and won back about £5000. So at present £234 down. Average bet size about £7 and bet about £20-30 on an average day.

Just enjoy the challenge of keeping the bank alive and occasionally making a bit of pocket money for a haircut or travel money/food ect.

Few times I've nearly wiped myself out through entertainment bets, but always seem to scrape back with a good footy/snooker correct score. See I should stick to betting on World Cup Qualifiers. So many mismatches that 3/4-0 correct scores will pay. Last night had £11 treble on Czech Rep-2, Norway, Kazakhstan and that has pumped my money up to £240. The highest amount I have built up is £293. While I can always seem to pull it back from going broke, it is so hard to push that little bit ahead. My new target is to break the £300 barrier and then stay in the £300 bracket consistently before pushing on. I enjoy the challenge.I

Sorry to any big money gamblers who think I'm betting peanuts. I've bet bigger before. I'm much better off with these stakes at the moment. Only problem is I can't resist betting every snooker tournament and having a bit on the footy everyday. My money was actually £245.42 after WCQs but I had the shrapnel on an Argentina / Arsenal women to win and U3.5. So may be up to £272 tonight if the ladies come in.

Anyway if anyone is interested I'll keep you posted with daily bets. There's the snooker in Manchester on Monday and Worlds in Sheffield. So if I'm not bust by then stay tuned. I'll try to let you know which are more speculative and which are serious bets. But try this for size, if John Higgins is playing a top rank player(top 20) and you bet the game to go to a decider you will win very regularly.

From now on all bets up front.

..... probably needs to go into the Snooker Forum then. ;)

Yeah. I was wondering why I ended up on horses when I tried to post on tips. I'll pop over to snooker when tourno starts on Monday. But football will be more regular.

Meanwhile just copped a really lucky 5/1 double with Arg 13/10 and Ars women & U3.5. 13/8. £5.42 hit and hope coughed £32.73. Very little thought went into that and it's a lovely bankbuilder. Made even better because there was very little to punt on. With that in mind amid the post international slump I've decided to have another go at pushing my luck with a low stake.

Banks up to £272.73. So £7.73 on Orient/Stevenage to draw pays £25.12.

Resisted the urge to chuck 1/4 Barca in for the double.

Bank - £265.

No joy. Orient 1-0. Fridays selections.

Benfica 3-0 8/1 £5 pays £45

Leverkusen to win by 1 goal 10/3 £5 pays £21.66

Sheff Utd & U2.5 7/2 £5 pays £22.50

Last minute pen for Benfica. 8/1 winner. Bank up to 295. Close with Leverkusen (87th min). Saturdays selections... Took it easy with snooker coming up.

PSG-1, Roma £8 pays £21 Celtic to win by 2. 10/3 £5 pays £21.66

Stockport, Watford £7 pays £18. Birmingham win by 2 3/1 £5 pays £20

Sporting 3-0 15/2 £5 pays £42.50. Burnley win by 1. 12/5. £5 pays £17.

Bank £260

Bank £340.50.

First the bad stuff. Blues and Celtic both won by 3. It happens. My only regret was sticking Watford in that double! There were half a dozen better 1/2 shots. (Should mention if a team go's 2 goals up I get the win. Hasn't happened on this thread yet but when Stockport went 2 up it didn't matter if the opposition came back and equalized/won)

Now the good. Burnley got their usual 1-0. PSG-1 & Roma double came in. And Sporting bagged a third in the 89th min to give me my 2nd Primeira 3-0 in 24 hours and a 15/2 winner.

In some ways I think I'm betting a bit more sensible/less compulsive since I started the thread. Don't want to look like a mug punter. Oh well plenty of time for that with the snooker starting🎱🎱🎱.... Thinking Robertson to win.

With caution in mind I'm keeping it tight on Sunday.....

Villa and Auxerre to win £10.50 pays £26.94

Villa to win by 2 10/3 £5 pays £21.66

Bank £351.94. Bagged the double. Good job to. Got the snooker starting tomo. Not to confident but here goes.

Tour Championship Snooker...

Neil Robertson to win tournament 9/2. £7.50 pays £41.25

Xaio Guodong to beat Wu Yize, Selby-2.5 to beat Si. £10 pays £26.19

Murphy/Hawkins to go to deciding frame 4/1 £4.44 pays £22.30

Xaio Guodong/Wu Yize to go to deciding frame 7/2 £5 pays £22.50

Williams/Ding to go to deciding frame 7/2 £5 pays £22.50.

We'll see. Bank £320

Guodong/Yize are 4-4. That's ok.

Hawkins is beating Murphy 7-1 though. Can't see that going to a decider. So £5 on Hawkins 10-4 pays £27.50.

Gives me something to watch too.

Mug bet on Murphy Hawkins. Hawkins won 10-1! Was just looking for some interest on the evening session.

Happy to break even with snooker at the moment. But will stick at it. Still got a few bets running. But entertainment bets can run your bank down quick. Need some returns.

Meantime...
Selby 10 Si 6 7/1 £5 pays £40

Selby 10 Si 7 6/1 £5 pays £35.

Bank £305😥 Albeit with 37 quids worth of green baize investments.🎰

No not really. Just that my first ever post ended up on here (horseracing) accidentally. I have a kind of sentimental attachment to the site now, despite having moved to football tips. I stick my snooker bets on the snooker thread, but no footy.

Anyway, quite right. I don't belong here. Anyone who is interested look on football tips.

I'll leave you with Stockport & Wycombe £10 pays £25.03. Hope it's not a dud.
