I just read the form T tacker, they lost to Korea, Cuba, North Vietnam, Khmer Rouge , Somalia and the Taliban, and before that were spanked by the Brits, don’t fancy them much against Russia. They are rank useless unless they drop a nuke.

The USA has an economy around six times that of Russia and a military to suit.

A quick gander at the " form " suggests they were on the right side in both world wars, made errors when trying to save the freedoms of such as south korea, ( is north korea a better place to live ?) Well yes if you enjoy clapping.

Had to look up Somalia but it was something to do with humanitarian aid i think and don't recall russia ever wanting to help those in need anywhere in the world.

Massive help given to the UK during the Falklands war.

For all it's faults the USA has been a great friend to the UK and we need it to stay that way imo.

Russia have spent years trying to “beat” Ukraine.

I think when you look at it logically the country between europe and russia being ukraine and fighting russia is exactly what usa and europe had in mind when they sat there between them so that if fighting ever broke out it would be between these two and not them joining and taking on west so its perfect for western world to fund enough to let them kill Russians and they don't need put soldiers on ground to do it.
What better outcome could they have wished for long term really to protect them selfs years of it and hundreds of thousands dead really is sad state of affairs all round.
